wow and wonc, I'm not full of shyt. The mileage is as I stated. I only commute a half mile each way to get to work. The vehicle may have had some damage prior to me owning it, but it checked out fine on two different used vehicle reports. If I knew how to show the receipts for repairs done on that silverdildo I would do that to prove my point.I owned a 2000 silverado and mechanically it was fine, the tail gait would not stay shut, and the passenger side window work on occassion, I also owned a 1996 silverado that no GM garage could figure out why it would not fire on the number 8 cylinder. I've owned two F-150's with no problems at all. I chose the fj cruiser because it has one of the highest resale figures in the market today. The fj is also one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. I only have put 900 miles on it so far, and with my track record owning vehicles, I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this on. AND I AM NOT A JAP CAR LOVER. Nothing wrong in giving them a chance. And as far as not taking care of my vehicles, maybe you should talk to my wife about that one. Shes complaining that I rub and scrub and take better care of my harley and trucks than I do her. So keep being a smart ass it will get you no where. By the way why havent you posted your name, what are you hiding for?

<quoted text>I would also like to add that where I'm from, Toyota is THE domestic manufacturer, with a huge plant in Georgetown, and suppliers scattered thruout the state of KY. If Toyota went under, many of my friends would be out of a job. That for all you "buy domestic" screamers.
Too bad they don't work in Bavaria. That's the origin of two of my cars.

So you owned 2 f150's and never had a problem with them so you go out and buy a toyota. You bought a vehicle from people who would never buy anything made in the US or any other country for that matter unless it's something not made by their own people.Like I said, your full of sh*t

<quoted text> http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/29/toyo... Here's facts Dude!Pick up a paper or check the internet once in awhile. And show me where any company has almost 9 million in recalls within one year dude lol.
You have no idea how often I read the paper or internet, Kind of a dumb statement since We're chatting on the internet, Huh? Like I said, Toyota has the same percent unintended acceleration rate as every other manufacturer. They have obviously recalled this many cars because they don't know what the problem is and they want to make sure they cover everything. You are insane if you think that one problem like this overshadows decades of proven superiority in the quality area. And let me say again in case you didn't get the first two times, according to NHTSA, Toyota vehicles have unintended acceleration problems the SAME percentage as ALL other manufacturers. Maybe the problem is that you are reading liberal propaganda (Huffington Post) instead of real news.

<quoted text>Yeah, because when a vehicle has between 11K and 30K miles we expect the owner to maintain/replace sensors, HVAC resistors, anti-lock braking modules, and poorly designed steering shafts!
Hey, if you like fixing these problems on your own, then you keep buying Detroit 3 product.
Wipe the sperm off your lips. You and both know you are reduced to lies. That puts a smile on my face and I sleep well at night.

I wish the people in this country would buy only american made products, our economy would fix itself then. You knock the japanese for buying only products made buy japanese, sounds like a good therory to me. Also the reason for not buying another F-150 was because I was no longer in the market for a pick-up truck and ford doesnt offer an SUV that appealed to me. Seems you have a problem with shyt, maybe you should check your own pants because you seem to choose to spread it on here yourself. Like the alias name you post!!!

Wait foe the calss action suits from auto insurers and the class action for the rotting Tundra's. Wait for the individual suits briught on by those that died from sudden acceleration. 100's of millions in losses for Toyota.

For the first time in it's history, Consumer Digest is demanding american's not to buy a certain SUV. That SUV would be the Lexus GS 460. It will roll over as it's stability control simply does not work.

Hmmm your the one that asked about Nasa it was all over the news. Geee that's why I asked if you read a paper or check news on the internet. And tell you what sunshine I'll help you out type in Toyota and Nasa and see what comes up. There are all different ones I just grabed one. And your missing the point we aren't just talking about unintended acceleration here. Brakes, steering, rotting frames etc and now rollovers. All I did was answer your question to bad you didn't like the answer. Not that it matters I didn't vote for Obama you moron if you are disscussing something and you have oppisite view points doesn't always mean your a liberal or a conserative. Have a great day Sunshine
