No tornado basements in the schools? What gives? They live in Tornado Alley! Shouldn't that be a clue? Poor kids.
You would think it was part of the building code in that area. Public schools and government stink.
Who's responsible?

God is responsible for the tornadoes, but local Republican government officials who are in charge should have known better in terms of planning and constructing the schools, as well as the ordinances for home construction in "tornado alley". Let's all pray for the victims and thank God for the Federal relief that the victims need and want so badly.

Basements (or at least good ones) are difficult to build in this area. The topsoil is rather shallow and then one encounters solid rock. I do think schools should have some kind of "safe shelters", however. In this particular case, I doubt it would have helped much. The tornado was too big and too powerful.

Tears are known to God. Jesus wept. Emotions are high right now. Focus on God and His LOVE. Satan caused a wind (possibly a tornado) that killed Job's seven children. I don't think those children were hated by God. Job had seven more children. Perhaps they were his same children. I would love for my deceased children to be here. God will restore to us what Satan has taken away. My sons that haven't returned to me, means they were not taken away by Satan. I hope it helps.

True, those in the basement drowned due to flooding and heavy rain.

My 14yr old said that before he left for school this morning. Why they don't have a cellar the size of a gym? I said I don't know. They can build million dollar malls but no cellars in tornado alley for school kids.

Water tables and soil content make it difficult. Seven of the children were in a school basement and they drowned.

The water table in that area is too high to allow for basements.

teleprompters? That's all you got, boy? teleprompters? 100,000 posts and all you got is teleprompters?

Maybe you can tell us why the R-House has voted 35 times (and failed 35 times) and spent $50 million dollars trying to repeal Obamacare?

Because Obama won't let Harry Reid bring it to the floor of the senate with the 2014 election staring libs in the face. Over 60% of America want it repealed.
