The GOP want to divert those funds to guarding our embassies overseas instead. How many died in Benghazi was it again?

Why not let New Jersey voters decide the fate of oklahoma since both of their rethug congressmen don't believe in aid for other states experiencing disasters.

Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn (R) on Sunday said that the federal government had “created kind of a predicate, that you don’t have to be responsible for what goes on in your state” by providing aid after disasters like the tornado that hit the Oklahoma City area last week.

Good ol' Coburn, the conscience of Oklahoma.

But, Tom wouldn't let that get in the way of cutting a few FEMA checks.

Some advise......MOVE OUT OF PLACES CALLED "TORNADO ALLEY" or "FLOOD ZONE"
.
Other than that, I don't know what else to say. It's your choice. But stop asking everyone else for money everytime there's a tornado or a flood. That's on you. That's a gamble that you accepted. Which is your choice. However, most people make the sacrifice and move out of beautiful but dangerous places to raise their families because that is the sane thing to do.
This might sound callous to all the bleeding hearts out there, but, Oh well. I'm just trying to save the lives of innocent children from their parents stupidity.

So let's close off these tornado states to disaster funds:

Texas: 8,049
Kansas: 3,809
Oklahoma: 3,443
Nebraska: 2,595
Iowa: 2,368
Illinois: 2,207
Missouri: 2,119
Mississippi: 1,972
Alabama: 1,844

And...

well, then there's the hurricanes....(Florida, Georgia, the entire east coast).

Ah... flooding... anywhere along the Mississippi... let's make that any flood zone...

Why oh WHY would you encourage people to go live where they can get killed?? You sure are one cold-hearted SOB. Awful. Those poor children. Democrats. They sure need the IRS to help them win for some reason. Think about that.

You have had your had out your entire life, BM.

There isn't a state in the USA that hasn't had to declare a natural disaster, not one.
