It is a fact that the outcome may well be an opposition victory or not but it does not mean Russia is shifting it,s ground. Russia prefers a negotiated settlement and it is merely saying that it is unaccetable that regime change by armed conlict is the way forward. The media like to spin comments out of context instead of reporting it factually. Russia has not said it will abandon it,s stance.

I find it strange that Syria's chemical weapons have come into the discussion lately that the US has threatened action if used but at the same time the US and other governemts have their own stockpiles for the very same reason Syria have their's to repel invaders .........

It's America who has killed 4 lakh people and caused 500000 birth anomalies using agent orange for chemical war fare in Vietnam war. It's the highest no of death caused in chemical warfare. So USA and Obama shut up your asses , u don't have any right to speak about using chemicals in war. USA and it's allies have illusions and deletions about Syrian army.
A pure psychological war fare.
Check out the news reported in BBC.
It's a version created against all ethics of journalism . Shame on a channel like BBC not to report the truth.
America has win in Iraq, Libya,. Want to play same dirty trick in Syria. But now I started feel that it's the rich and powerful who Al ways win . I pray to God that it doesn't happen on Syria.
Syrian people and it's people pray to Allah and the free Syrian army also pray to Allah. So sure Allah is confused. Stop these so called man made dirty jehad. Those rascals who think they are doing jehad are the fools. Take guns and start killing each other and do your jehad. Then go to heaven for having sex with 100 Virgins. So all jehad guys want sex . Why don't you stop killing for sex . Instead pay money in brothel

If you find this strange, you did not follow U.S. methods of trying to find excuse for military intervention. Chemical weapons were an excuse for Iraq invasion; despite the fact that there was AEA working in Iraq, finding nothing, and willing to continue working.

Not Sure Oliver, but I do hope truely that Syria gets some support. The support of foreigners is evident in Syria and the opposition will destruct anyone who is not on board with their ways. I have my family out there and I pray they remain out of harms way.

I hope your family will be safe my friend,we can only look from a distance but from what i see this is a fight that the Syrian people must win or the future will be Wahabi Fascism and Imperialism, just look at what happened in Libya,i don't understand why the Iranians are not more involved, because they are in the sights of the U.S. Reich,Iran and Syria have a defence pact, those Rebel Rats are made up from Foreigners and some Syrian Fanatics,so Syria has already been invaded mostly through Turkey, the time for talking is over, the Russians should put their money where their mouth is and Iran should be organizing with Assad about weapons and manpower from Iran.

The real problem is the dictatorial past
of this Assad clan regime.
Also corrupted through and through.
Ruling the country like a family mafia.
Namely with one of his outstanding cousins
well known as Mister 10 % to Syrian entrepreneurs.

If Assad would have wisely governed he could
have don this such a way that every citizen
is now armed to his teeth to defend his
fatherland against such criminal pseudo religious
nonhuman terror gangs.

So he can do this anyway even still now and beside
of this giving a good bounty for shooting those pests.

Also giving permissive visa and hunting permits to
every interested terrorist hunting safari.

To hell with this pest
and shoot them all on sight.

You see it somewhat simplistic. There is no perfect Government. And if the Government is Socialist, it cannot be so perfect that the U.S. and the NATO Club will not find the way to take it down. According to American author William Bloom, since WW2, at least 50 foreign Socialist Governments were overthrown by the U.S. covert or overt (proxy or direct war) operations. The Socialist Governments nationalize their resources, and the Big Boys of the Reich do not allow that. However, Russia and China took the stand, that the illegal Regime Change policy of the West has to come to an end, and they better find the way to keep their word.

I think the watershed was the savage attack on the FRY,the Reich chose its moment well,a drunken idiot was in charge of Russia, the Reich have been on a rampage ever since, and if anyone thinks they will stop they won't,they will have to be stopped and that place should be Syria.I remember when about a hundred Russian paras landed at Pristina Airport, there was panic in Nato and Western leaders, they didn't know how to handle it,the Russians should have kept control of the airport brought more troops in and protected the Serbs from those KLA head choppers, but they didn't the rest is History.

Assad needs to take theses countries to the world criminal court for sending killers to Syria. It is documented that it is happening. Saudi is sending more death row inmates as we speak.

God help Syria. I am praying for it to return to the way things were. What is his next move?.....

God forbid if Syria was left in a power vacuum, the crimes spree commited by the terrorists/jihadists which have infested the country would be beyond human imagination.Offcourse we wont see such crimes from the media,as it's carefully selected to suit political agenda of certain countries.
Let's hope any changes when ever it may be, is done through dialogue and central authority.terrorists are enemy of all humanity, no matter what country there in.

I pray for Syria and may it be strong enough to overcome the evil the West has brought on them. I can assure you there can never be peace in Syria even if Assad lose. This is not democracy! Shedding innocent blood and supporting fanatics and rogues by arming them will never be democracy.
