Harroun said he went to Syria to fight with the Free Syrian Army.

He was fighting against the Syrian military and has done NOTHING against the USA.

The US supports these rebel fighters in their efforts to overthrow the Assad regime.

Why? You all dont know anything about this case yet.. let it play out. Did he target U.S. personnel? Did he target U.S. interests? Do you know for sure that he knew who he was fighting along side? No. You dont know. Its all speculation thus far.
