Pattern seen in alleged chemical arms use in Syria
The instances in which chemical weapons are alleged to have been used in Syria were purportedly small in scale: nothing along the lines of Saddam Hussein's 1988 attack in Kurdish Iraq that killed thousands.

Chemical weapons and the over 70000 people killed and still counting. Which is more serious?

Chemical weapon is far much more better than a long time destructive rule by islamist rebels

Chemical weapon is far much better than an islamist extremist rule...read this comment:
Across Syria, rebel-held areas are dotted with Islamic courts staffed by lawyers and clerics, and by fighting brigades led by extremists. Even the Supreme Military Council, the umbrella rebel organization whose formation the West had hoped would sideline radical groups, is stocked with commanders who want to infuse Islamic law into a future Syrian government.
THIS IS NOT THE SYRIA WE WANT..........

Why would the Syrian military use chemical weapons on a small scale?
If they use chemical weapons, they know they've crossed Obama's 'red line' which may provoke an attack. If they're going to cross the 'red line', then they would use them tactically, in amounts that might do them some good. "In for a dime, in for a dollar", so to speak. To use them sparingly on one or two occasions is a total lose/lose. Are they such idiots? I doubt it.
The entire scenario is absurd. Of course the rebels or their allies used them or staged them to provoke a NATO response.
Grow up, people.

Are you kidding me? 2 months ago, including up to 12 months ago, the US and Israel warned Syria that they knew when chemicals would be moved or armed. In deed, when there was any movement, the West was already sounding alarms. They had intelligence on the ground and in their satellite images. Now, are they saying that Assad somehow slipped their intelligence, transported a few rounds, then used it? Very inconsistent, not to mention the lack of objective evidence to prove chemicals were used.
If there is any pattern, its the West's frequent use of Chapter 1 from the Iraqi playbook as a means for regime change. We need to stay out, stop the arms flow, and force the parties to reach a political solution. Violence will only beget violence!
