Yes you are correct.. And that is the biggest reason I began to dislike Bush in the first place... Then he gave me more reasons..

Mitt Romney:“I was too important to go to Vietnam”
“Governor Romney, it is true, is it not that you had four deferments from the Vietnam War… You have said before that you support war and the efforts of US military involvement overseas at all costs, yet you made sure you would never go to war yourself. What makes you think that veterans and those currently serving in the military think that you have their best interests at heart when you yourself weren’t even interested in sacrificing your time, energy, or life for your nation at a time when it seemed most crucial?”
Romney responded:
“That’s a good question, young man, and I would be happy to answer it. The Vietnam War came at a time in my life when I had other plans. I knew in my heart of hearts that I would one day serve my nation. That I would one day hold an office that would help not only our nation, but also the world. So I did what I could to make sure that I would be around to serve my nation, as well as serving God by teaching very important religious principles to a broader audience overseas. My father did not want me serving, and he convinced me that yes, I was too important to go to Vietnam. I had a greater purpose in life. I wasn’t neglecting my nation, but rather preparing myself for a future of service.”
An onlooker that seemingly was a Vietnam veteran shouted,“Fuck you, Romney! You wouldn’t know service if it bit you on your well manicured ass.” To which Romney responded,“Please don’t be testy, my friend. I did what I did for you, and I thank you for your service as well.” That same veteran responded,“You only served yourself, you jackass. You could’ve served your nation even if your draft number wasn’t called… but you didn’t… you chose to serve yourself instead. Thanks for revealing your true colors.”
"So I did what I could to make sure that I would be around to serve my nation, as well as serving God by teaching very important religious principles to a broader audience overseas"

Imagine that, those poor European slobs living in their dirty little hovels were just waiting for little Mitten to come save them from their miserable lives of ignorance and poverty - Romney truly is "a legend in his own mind"!

How about when Bill Clinton ran against Bob Dole? Who did you support?
Excellent!

Leftists only support the military when they need a flag to wave in the faces of those who are actually patriotic Americans, in their attempt to garner votes.

The rest of the time, they spit in the faces of soldiers returning from active duty.

Modern leftists are the worst the U.S. has to offer. Unchecked, they will usher in the destruction of the United States, and they will do so happily and with no reservation whatsoever.

Please present your evidence supporting the idea that one word of the exchange is factual.

You cannot, because it is not.

The left is so desperate to hold power that they will do whatever they can to garner votes, from outright lying, to actual voter intimidation at the polls.

The modern left is the worst the U.S. has to offer. They have no inkling of honestly, truth, or moral backbone. All they care about is power, ala Hitler, Stalin, or Mussolini.

There is literally no difference.

The left believes, and spreads, any nonsensical lie..yet when they are called out on their ignorance, they attack those who call them out.

Typical.

No.

It did not sound anything at all like something he would say. I'm astounded that some folks fell for it as if it were truth.

A lot of leftist "news" sources are having to retract the story and apologize for posting it. Others are simply quietly deleting it, hoping to avoid getting any "egg on their faces".

Others are spreading it regardless of the fact that they know good and well it is utter BS.

The left's quest for power is not limited by any boundaries like truth or honor.

Shame on them.

Sounds like you are describing the GOP.. They are the ones that are power hungry.. Your outright lies and deception are not fooling anyone but yourself.. The Retardicans are more like Hitler, Stalin, or Mussolini. They seek to put the country into the hands of their unelected corporate masters and enslave the rest of us.. They care nothing for the people or this country or the God they claim they follow.... And they have become so arrogant they don't even try to hide it.. Unfortunately most of the people that follow them are so stupid and unable to think on their own that they don't see it.. When it is too late they will blame everyone else for their woes...

And whats the Liberal plan to stop it. Put more taxes on business? Regulate them more? make it harder for them to compete in the global market? Or bring in More illegals to take jobs from people that are legally here?
I would love to see your plan there.

Your name-calling isn't going to strengthen your already ludicrous arguement.

Corporations cannot pass laws, nor can they enforce regulation. Only government can.

Government is the only force in the United States that can and will enslave us. Anyone who thinks a government growing larger and more powerful won't utilize that power is not thinking clearly.

A government that follows the principles of the U.S. Constitution cannot, under any circumstances, allow either petty bureaucrats, nor private enterprise, to hold any legal power over our citizenry.

The liberals have no plan, other than to continue doing what hasn't worked already:

Increase costs to American business through taxation and regulation in order to drive more economic development, industry, and jobs out of the United States and to nations which welcome all three.

deregulation, tax cuts for the rich, and unpaid for wars created the problem. We've tried your way.

We need to get rid of the teabaggers in congress who have pledge to the lobbyist Norquist to abdicate their responsibility to consider each piece of legislation on it own merits.

Wrong again.

No industry is completely unregulated. There have been no "tax cuts for the rich", only tax cuts for everybody. Fighting wars to protect the United States from further attack is an expressly stated constitutional duty of our Federal Government.

Furthermore, there are no "teabaggers" in congress. But one thing is for sure, we need to elect more patriots such as Ron and Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Michelle Bachmann, and the like to congress.

We've tried it your way for 50 years as our nation has lurched to the left and stumbled. It's been an unabashed failure.

However, your continued attempts to demonize individuals by name when you cannot effectively challenge their ideas are duly noted.

Well, let me put it this way: There are no "teabaggers" in congress when defined in the derogatory terminology of the modern left.

Whatever activities members of congress enjoy in their personal relationships is entirely their business, as long as the activity, when more than one person is involved, is consensual!

I remember listening to a business man on Radio a few years ago who company was moving overseas. He stated the main problem in California was not taxes or labor cost but government regulations..He pointed out it sometimes took up to six month to get approval for the State and Federal government when they wanted to expand or change their machine shop around, while a competitor in Denmark could do so in one month. He stated he can always find a way to pay more for labor and in taxes, but what does he do about the 5 month headstart his competitor has?

So you'd repeal GWB's changes to the law that meant poor people could no longer take out class action suits against big business?

After all, it's wrong for private enterprise to hold any legal power over the citizens, right?

Hmmmm...seems Obama has been in power for several years now...and had a couple years with a rubber-stamp Democrat majority..and you mean he didn't change that law when he had the chance?

What was Obama doing? Taking a vacation? Playing basketball? Or drinking beer?

Obviously what Obama does is far more important than what you would do but I was still asking what YOU would do.

Also, I'd like to ask YOUR opinion on the depression in the 20's and 30's.

It was caused by a crash in an unregulated stock exchange that doesn't have the safety measures we do now, took over a decade to recover from and the main factor for US recovery was implementing socialist policies like the Hoover Dam.

(Cue more avoidance for now but next week I gaurantee Cary pops back up and claims regulation and socialist policies destroy everything they touch)
