Romney Is President

IT makes sense that Mitt Romney and his advisers are still gobsmacked by the fact that they're not commandeering the West Wing. Full Story

Too many in this country are moochers, get some damn oversight into the welfare and food stamp programs!! That alone would at least shut up the argument about buying votes with entitlements!! I get tired of seeing people buy steaks with foodstamps while texting on their new Iphone!! Stop taking votes from the lazy entitlementees and more conservatives may buy your arguments on class warfare. Just please stop spending taxpayer dollars on the undeserving..clean it up!!!
That is as funny as the wall to wall trailer parks in the south which are all getting some type of gvmt assistance while flying Romney banners on their lawns.

Not a talking point ,I have seen it .

You are wrong. Romney himself stated just like every GOP candidate that he wanted to either curtail the EPA or just abolish them .
Just look at Rick Perry's Texas with the out of control air pollution, it was only after the fed gvmt sued did Perry start to take some action and than he had the audacity to take credit for Texas's improving air quality after the Obama fed gvm't forced his hand.
GOP wipe their butt with the health of the "little" people. Look at the people who now have water that is toxic due to fracking such as KY.
Their own state republicans ignore them.

Ok basing your arguement on a website like that is already lacking true substance. Some legislation is lacking environmental considerations of course but it comes from both sides!! I remember Ted Kennedy (D) opposing windmills off the coast of cape cod because it ruined "the scenery" Take a look at the policies of other countries before you lay it all at the feet of anyone not voting democrat in this one.

Prove that, I will apologize. This country cannot keep throwing away money on social programs without adequate oversight! Yes and I agree with your side the bush wars cost us too much as a nation,, bush also initiated a new prescription drug entitlement and tried to pass immigration and social security reform! im not for the republicans as much as im against the me me me entitlement mentality that votes democreat. Take care or yourself, let the feds take care of the country
I was actually an Independent voter, voted both Dem and Rep till moving to Florda and seeing what hypocrites the GOP base are and noticing a huge difference for the worse ,as far as basic consumer rights that I took fo granted in NY .

I find it funny how the south has the luxury of screaming about Democrats but come every hurricane, tornado and flooding they scream "Federal gvmt HELP US".

"Take care or yourself, let the feds take care of the country"

No one has asked the fed gvmt to take care of us but we want a fed gvmt which protects us and works for us not the big CEO's who would kill us if it meant they made an extra $1, Laissez-faire has never worked.

Yeah me too but you don"t know for a fact people in wall to wall trailer parks are getting govt assistance do you? Maybe they are there because that is what they can afford at the moment. Unlike the people in New orleans who spent their debit cards on strip joints and booze after katrina.. of course blame bush and the repubs for that debacle. So how's the Sandy aftermath goin for ya? Good thing you got the media on your side!:)

I disagreed with Ted Kennedy but do not tell me the GOP gives a damn about the enviroment because I have eyes .

I have seen it here in Florida, The sugar plantations who were all republican donors polluted the hell out of some areas of the Everglades and the Obama administration had to step in , in order to get the Glades clean up project going.

I could give you countless links but you would say that sites have no credibility.

If you ever have a few minutes look up "The Fanjul brothers aka the "Sugar Cane Cowboys" .

When you have fishing buddies who work in postal dept you do know.

"So how's the Sandy aftermath goin for ya?"

From what I understand Obama has been great as far as doing all he can and think republican Gov Christie would agree.

I recall he said something to that effect ?

My parents are in Bayside, Queens and not a scratch in their area but the city is moving as fast as possible in restoring power in areas which still lack it.

The fed gvmt has sent countless workers and all that Bloomberg in NY and Christie in NJ have asked for.

They vilified bush over katrina, obama gets a pass on sandy. Dems have convinced people that they are pro people, and gop is pro business. OK SO WHAT WE NEED BOTH!! democrats police the big business, gop police the entitlement progroms!! Is this so hard for the american voters to agree on while the senators congressmen and presidents retire with benefits we could only dream of? Jose I'm with you as an american.. But We have to stop this one side or the other mentality! needs are different for each race, community, and background

Bush did a terrible job during Katrina as did Mayor Nagin and Gov Blanco.
I would not want any of the above in a leadership position ever again.

"Unlike the people in New orleans who spent their debit cards on strip joints and booze after katrina"

If that is true than the one's who did would not get another penny from me if I "ran things" but suspect most did not do that.

Obama gets a "pass" on Sandy because he has done all he could and there doesn't seem to be any politicians regardless of party who have any problems with the aid the fed gvmt has given.

"But We have to stop this one side or the other mentality! needs are different for each race, community, and background"

I couldn't care less about race, ethnicity ,religion . Life is not about that it is about political ideology but I have to say that as a non religious , pro-choice ,gay man, I would have to be insane to even consider the "new" GOP.

I have to get to bed but good chat. We will chat agin.

Jose I consider you a friend already because we can disagree without insulting one another. I will research the fanjul brothers, but I will tell you this, Dems are no better than anyone else in govt.. bush got crucified over katrina, obama sails right past sandy. not to mention the gulf oil spill! please admit bush would have been burned at the stake over that! Also there are countless links on how evil the dems are but that's just how it is right? Divide and conquer!!

If 25,000 people sign the petition by Dec. 7, it will “require a response” from the Obama administration, according to published rules of the White House’s online “We the People” program.
