RE: Pope denounces terror in God's name
The problem is that the members of some "Christian" belief systems do NOT follow Jesus, nor his lifestyle; many so-called "Christianities" have been invented after Jesus had been crucified. All those should be ignored. As I keep repeating, only those are Christians who follow a Christ and his lifestyle. Many, including clergy, think that they are Christians - they are NOT! Members of belief systems that do not obey the requirements of their belief system maybe should be expelled, despite the huge loss of sinners' donations that may be the result.
..... If God is a part of their beliefs, then ALL of their members should always do what God wants them to do, and never do what God does NOT wants them to do.

As an Atheist and a German citizen I have no conflict with Vatican president who got his education in Germany.
Of course more people are getting torutured, maimed, butchered, raped, dehumanized in the name of Religion.
I am cock/quite sure that there is hardly any religion which practice the sermons of their noble words.

But actions originally prompted by conscious intelligence may grow so automatic by dint of habit as to be apparently unconsciously performed. Standing, walking, buttoning and unbuttoning, piano-playing, talking, even saying one's prayers, may be done when the mind is absorbed in other things. The performances of animal instinct seem semi-automatic, and the reflex acts of self-preservation certainly are so. Yet they resemble intelligent acts in bringing about the same ends at which the animals' consciousness, on other occasions, deliberately aims.

I know for a fact, he did not use God's personal name, as it is in the Bible, Jehovah God. The earliest translators used the name Jehovah, for the Hebrew letters Y H W H as it is in Scripture.
Psalms 83:18

If you are a true Christian then you are under the command of Jesus Christ, who taught his followers how to worship God, to be peaceful and love all men. That means we do not fight, or go to war to kill anyone, we are neutral in the affairs of this world. John 15: 17-19

I used to believe in it at one time too. The RCC is nothing but a money making institution using scare tatics on its sheeple.

Well, that should work. I guess Obama can bring home the troops now. Thanks Pope.
