Boo to the editor at CBS News. It's "lightning" for the flashes in the sky during a thunderstorm, and "lightening" for a baby's dropping in the womb from under the mother's diaphragm about two weeks before birth. English classes aren't what they used to be! This is coupled with America's "whatever" attitude!
