More CYA stuff from all parties involved...BP, Transocean, Halliburton, the maker of the BOP, the chemical company that makes the supposedly safe dispersant, MMS and EPA.

Add to that "poisoning the Legal-evidence well" (and dragging things out legally).

I left out Peter Sutherland, former CEO of BP, and now CEO of Goldman Sachs International, and G.S., itself which dumped 44 million shares of BP a few weeks before the 'explosion.'

And ad more disingenuous/suspicious post-Deepwater Horizon accident behavior. Like the feds and BP resisting to provide (for public examination) critical evidential "mud logs" and related electronic data logs. Continuing to hide the BP drill manager (the one in charge at time of accident--from pointed public questioning (before media and Congressional hearings).

Most recently, the public now learns that BP has been "photoshopping" the PR images of its Houston crisis control center--why do stunts like that if the intent is to present responsible forthright corporate behavior to the public!?

If the Blogger page appears "pulled"--then readers might try the AMERICAblog link--and the link's page allows for image downloading--especially the CLOSE-UP image segments which show the (very poor)image insertions.

People are going to have a field day making funny out of the BP PR image stunt--but it also illustrates intentional misrepresentation (imo). Not wise, and nobody needs it.

I think that Mr. John Aravosis' perceptive questions (on the AMERICAblog page), regarding BP's 2001 manipulated, then corrected "2010 official Command Center photo"--are just as interesting as that BP "pro-photographer" hack-job picture itself.

The following link is sort of "photoshop informational" in a funny way (has to do with a BP-helicopter view of crisis response 26-June-2010). HOWEVER, it also just illustrates that whatever corporations like BP provide the public image-wise--CAN'T BE TRUSTED AT ALL, or automatically taken for granted!

So much preoccupation with their public image--that PR image manipulations and "enhancements" eventually become counter-productive.
