It leaks more from the ocean, far more, than any oil rig spill in any given year, look it up.
Look it up? Provide the evidence. You're quoting from that great geologist Rush Limbaugh. Too bad you can't find a scientist on Earth that agrees with his statement.

I won't be happy until every global warming THEORIST has been deemed obsolete.
Especially the Hollywood RICH people telling us how stupid we are while THEY suck up more energy in a year than others would in ten years.
Global warming has nothing to do with it. It's a matter of having drinkable water and clean air to breath.

I'm sure you decided to live right next to an oil refinery & coal fired electric plant for the quality of life.....

Yes, they did, with a theory at the supreme court allowing the EPA to get in our face.
Well that will change in 2012, good bye Obama and his czars..
Again, nobody, NOBODY said that CO2 is poisonous.

No, I don't want pollution.

But global warming is everything to do with it, get rid of that and we can agree all day long about regulating the safety of our air and water. as the companies should, but need the long arm of the law.(but not over reaching)

It must be a federal government thing that it takes $14BILLION to send someone over and give them a gigantic fine and another one if they don't clean it up.

There are hundreds of thousands of businesses with the ability to pollute our air, our water, and our earth that need to be watched, investigated, policed, prosecuted and fined. If there was no agency doing this job, there would be no reason for these businesses to keep from polluting.
It must be a corporate fascist thing to think that businesses and industries will police themselves and not think of profits first.

Just WHO do you think is going to "agree all day long"???

Long before anyone ever mentioned the concept of global warming, the oil & coal & gas industries (along with their GOP stooges) have fought EVERY SINGLE REGULATION regarding safety, pollution, etc. This pattern goes back to the very founding of our nation and includes every industry ever developed in America, including lumber, gold & silver & copper & lead & uranium mining, textiles, autos, steel, chemicals, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Just this past week it was revealed that Massey Coal faked mine safety records which contributed to the deaths of 29 miners last year. Will they be shut down or fined or brought up on murder charges? Of course not. They'll get a slap on the wrist and continue faking their records while advertising their b.s. "clean coal".

So long as the campaign money keeps flowing from the oil/coal/gas industry to the politicians, we can look forward to more "accidents" from the likes of Massey & Exxon.

I think you got my post wrong, I meant in the invention of the THEORY called global warming, as opposed to try and not pollute.

Thing is, I would never subscribe to that "global warming" nonsense because of science.
Then they squirm and have to resort to renaming it to climate change, lol, wow so scientific of them.

I wasn't attacking you. The whole Globull this that etc is laughable. Earth was going to have drastic climate changes regardless of man. PERIOD. A FACT, one that can not be argued, denied, or debated. It is a FACT the Earth will be covered in ice again. It is a FACT the Earth will over heat and become a waste land again. It will happen over and over.

The whole Globull bullshit the "scientists" are presenting is brought to you, and paid for, by the big corporations to make more money. It is complete and total bullshit. There is NOTHING man can do to change what the Earth does. NOTHING. So hey why not come up with some bullshit people will buy into and make a few bucks. LOL

History has shown they DON'T care about the environment or their kids or the future. They know that with enough money they can buy clean water from Iceland or send their family to some unspoiled wilderness they bought for themselves. The ONLY thing they care about is making a profit TODAY, no matter the cost to the future.

The Cayahouga river had to CATCH ON FIRE before people started thinking it might not be such a good idea to continue to dump everything into the river.

DOW chemical STILL dumps all their crap into the Saginaw River in spite of all the regulations against it. They just pay the minor fine and keep on dumping.

Most harbors in every city in America are so contaminated that it's dangerous to eat any fish that might be left.

You're a fool if you really think any of those corporations give a rats ass about you or me or the environment or even their own kids.

4 billion of years of geological history. That trumps today's scientists any day of the week.

Ummmmm, just who do you think established those "4 billion years of geological history"?? The very scientists you dismiss today!! Unless you know of someone who was around to witness that history over the past 4 billion years and recorded the temperatures etc. No one can prove there ever was an ice age; even one as recent as 10,000 years ago. While that is the current theory based on all available scientific "evidence", there are alternate explanations for all "geological history". Just ask all the religious freaks who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old & that Moses led the residents of Sodom & Gomorrah out of Kansas while riding a dinasaur & put them all on an ark & sailed around the earth to build the duplicate pyramids in Mexico & China etc.

If you claim there are 4 billion years of geological history, then you are just believing the current consensus by scientists. Just like the current consensus by scientists is that human activity is having an impact on the global climate.

So either you believe the consensus of scientists or you don't. Which is it?
