I mean, the poor little kid!

But I have to ask...w Was there some pressing reason for a year-old baby to be hanging out in a liquor store parking lot? The idiots who came in with guns blazing are a thousand percent at fault, of course, and I hope the people who know who they are will ball up and name some names.

But when the fellas on the block are gathering to make their videos, or pass their blunts around, or engage in whatever other community building activities that take place in some nasty parking lot, it's time to leave the babies safe at home. And if that means Daddy and/or Mommy growing up and maybe putting their child's safety before the allure and status of the loud, scuzzy liquor store party circuit, well damn straight.

When rappers know more than doctors and provide services that I don't have to pay for then rappers can second guess 10 years or more of education.

1. Who is the attorney writing the family releases. I know the family and there ain't one of them that can write or talk that way.
2. Why was a baby brought to a rapper video shoot at a liquor store?
3. The family is typical Oakland as they prepare to suit the hospital trying to save their baby's daddy's baby.
4. Why is Mayor Quan walking the streets trying to solve the case? More press coverage to cover all the bad press with the occupy protestors? Should not the mayor be putting her time and energy into running this crumbling city and not playing policeman, as she had proved she is totally inept? She did chase away Chief Batts and put in HoJo after all.
5. Can Oakland get any worse? You bet it can with Quan still mayor. Wait and see what happens tomorrow, and the following day, and the next day......
