Either way, Alabama will crush ND in Miami. The one sided thumping will be so ugly that ND would have been better off going to a lesser bowl (but still a BCS) and get a win.

Also offering the Heisman trophy to Tai (a defender) will add to the size of the target on ND. There was another school that went undefeated, although with a weaker schedule, and that team's players performed much better than ND. But NBC and ESPN are pushing for ND and it is pretty hard to revert a Stanford touchdown or realizing that USC withoug Mart is a very weak team.

> Congrats to the Frightened Iwish on their latest win over another unranked team! We're on the way to Miami! Not to worry, Dr. Artie will have Emergency Medical Services on standby at the Dixie Trauma Center for the ND fans in Miami. The shock of reality for ND fans will be brutal! The SEC champions beat down of Naughty Dame will probably be too traumatic for Leprechaun Nation! So... Dixie Trauma Center here we come!!!

Yah Artie gotta agree. If they were playing the Quack Quacks might be a better match. But SEC teams might kill them!

I think people should be respectful to Notre Dame, they went undefeated and beat some very good quality teams. They deserve to be #1 for now and I hope we can beat Georgia for a chance to play them.
I think it will be a hard fought game, Notre Dame's defense, front four and linebackers, are quality and just as good if not better than what is in the SEC.
Be cool people and show some respect.

Geez, these "SEC" fans sound worse than Cryami of 2002. Have you guys scheduled an "SEC" parade since the Trophy obviously belongs to the whole conference and not the team that wins it.

> Yes, it is true ... the BCS Trophy does belong to the SEC! Six in row, with number seven in a row, soon to be placed next to number six in a row! Now, don't let the fact that you other jealous conferences and independents have a slim and none chance of changing what is written in the stars ... Another BCS NC for the SEC! Plus, it rhymes! The SEC doesn't cry for heaven's sake! Well, with the exception of some of those whiny Bama fans. 2002??? Isn't that the year Terry Porter was MVP for the OcryO State Blackeyes? Yes, that was the year of "the great BCS theft". And, surprise, surprise ... Naughty Dame didn't have a thing to do with that criminal act!

I like ND in a BCS game. But not sure when you're an INDY school...so if any school is an INDY school and they win out do they deserve to be in the BCS Championship game? And schedule is everything. If ND played Ohio State or SEC teams. And ND barely won.

See, you are crying. Stop us on 4th down and then cry. OSU won the 2002 BCS NC and people still cry about it 10 years later. Well I have news for you, OSU is going to win more in the near future. There is nothing you or any other team can do to stop it, either.

> The reason ND, USC, and those other media (ASSociated Press) darling schools including Ohio State don't play the SEC elite is because of past experiences with LSU. LSU handed Notre Dame their @sses the last two times the Frightened Iwish played the Bayou Bengals in bowl games. The OcryO Stake Buckeyes got their @sses handed to them by LSU in the 2004 "31 & Done" BCS NC game. USC got their @sses handed to them by LSU in the L.A. Coliseum several years back, and they removed LSU from their "teams we need to play" list, rapidly (over night) I might add. So, those media darling teams now play all the washed-up, over-the-hill, once-upon-a-time teams, direct from the archaic CFB archives of college football. It's what Coach Artie calls, "Sliding into the BCS picture through the back door"! But, like LSU and Florida did to those wuss schools, "Slap them upside their pumpkin heads with reality" ... in the end, it showed the country just how much better the SEC is compared to those media loved chumps.

> For Ohio State to win another BCS NC ... they MUST NOT PLAY the SEC Champion in the NC game. Plain and simple! Now, your team would have a real fighting chance playing Choklahoma, or, Frauda State maybe. Those would be toss-up games for sure! Anyway, congrats to your Buckeyes for their undefeated season. What bowl game is your undefeated team playing in?

OSU is 8-12-2 against the SEC. That may not be the best record but they CAN beat the SEC and with Meyer's coaching they WILL beat SEC opponents. I want to remind you that 8 of those losses came from two coaches in recent history. that means before Cooper we had a WINNING record against the SEC. That will soon be true again. Watch it happen and cry about it when it does. And remember I predicted it.

And, you're gonna blame Cooper for your Buckeyes getting their arses handed to them by Florida and LSU in BCS NC games? Come on! Man up, Matt! It doesn't matter who's coaching Ohio State, they will still be on the short end of the stick against the SEC elite. Hehehehe! Hey, Matt ... you do know six of Ohio State's 7 wins are against Kentucky and Vanderbilt, don't you? And, let's not forget the mighty Buckeyes are 0-9, and, one forfeit against the SEC in bowl games. Not too hot for one of the old high and mighty relics of college football. So, your Buckeyes can stand in line with Notre Dame, and USC trying to figure out a way to beat the SEC elite. Good luck ... ya hear!?

Uhhhh, OSU's loss to South Carolina were Cooper and Tressel (first year at coach mind you). there is a huge difference in philosophy of those two and urban Meyer. And yes, it does matter who is coaching us.

> Matt, do your homework before you post nonsense condemning coach Cooper. It was Woody Hayes coaching one of Ohio State's losses against the Gamecocks. Hayes went ballistic slapping a South Carolina player who was forced out of bounds on the Buckeye sideline. Coach Artie guesses losing to a middle of the pack SEC team at the time drove the Ohio State head coach to his insane behavior in that Buckeye loss. It was the beginning of the end for Woody Hayes in that game! Geesh, Matt, as much as you hated Urban when he was coaching Florida, you're now sending the guy flowers and chocolates? LMAO!!!
