General elections in Mexico are scheduled for Sunday, July 1. MEXICO CITY - The front-runner in Mexico's July 1 presidential elections has rallied tens of thousands of supporters at his first mass campaign event in the country's capital, saying he will respect Mexico's democracy and govern for all if elected.
