What a total waste of time and resources just to wipe their flag in the face of the USA.
I would much prefer to see them showing the world who they are on the sporting fields throughout the world.

Great! That will significantly increase the chance that the US Navy destroys the Iranian fleet by "mistake".

Exactly, they were off to a good start in this year's Olympics with four gold medals and golds in the handicap Olympics.

Under international law, international waters are open to transit to everybody, us included. They have to put up with us, and we have to put up with them. It does not matter and never has mattered who is in the White House. Everybody knows the rules and everybody knows where the line in the sand is.

Iran has no reason to patrol off the coast of the United States other than to harass Americans and raise world tensions.

U.S. ships in the gulf protect oil tankers and help keep the waters of the Gulf open for international ships.

What is Iran attempting to do?

Takes because they were much bigger comprising all the republics, and half of Europe. Today's Russia has gone soft and now it's China waving the gold medal flag, but America is still #1.

Media reports suggested recently that Iran is working overtime to develop a nuclear capacity in violation of international agreements it signed.

Is it a friendly act for Iran to then send its naval vessels to sit off the coastlines of Western Hemisphere nations? Where they can surveille American cities and ships?

Will those Iranian ships carry weapons? What types? Why should an international atomic treaty lawbreaker nation get ANY "they have a right to sail in international waters, etc.,..." protection???

Where's your proof that Iran has broken any international laws, and please don't give Fox News as your source.

Also where is America's right to intimidate another country by patrolling it's coastline with warships?

That right is granted to America by virtue of 12 nuclear powered aircraft carriers, a fleet of attack submarines and the most devastating air armada in human history.
