Alan Greenspam used to run it but now he's just selling spamburgers on the Coney Island boardwalk. PS: Mustard and ketchup are extra.

My protege Alan Greenspam: The 90 lb weakling that went on to singlehandedly almost sink Capitalism in the modern world.

Was he a secret Bolshevik, I wonder? Funny, he never mentioned it at the gym.

A cynically minded person would be drawn to conclude your selling the USDollar
down the drain to reduce it in comparable value.
It's just another sales pitch of the currency wars.
Having a decreasing value of the major currency is a great advantage to the balance of trade.
And if the status in many other Nations eyes is maintained as the standard by military manoeuvres then the US has the best of both worlds.
Just like the bisexual queers some say.

When Iran goes nuclear, can we assume that Saudi Arabia would need to consider to go the same? That leaves other nations in the region to consider going nuclear. like Egypt.

I believe the Saudi leadership do not consider Israel a threat. Sure they talk the talk against Israel, with their Arab buddies. However, Iran and Saudi Arabia have had major overlapping interests in the region for some time. Saudi Arabia have possession of advanced weaponary, but Iran would have nuclear arms, which could unsettle the Saudi leadership. Apparently, according to Wiki leaks, the Saudis governemnt wanted the USA to strike at Iran's nuclear development sites several years ago.

What happened to him again?
Sure Israel was the first in the region to go nuclear. We can assume it will not be the last. Iran's leadership wishes to wipe another nation off the face of the Earth. Nuclear weapons against a tiny country such as Israel would give him that capability. Iran would have the means AND the intention, which makes it a different case to other nuclear powers. If they are keen to destroy Israel, why stop there? Maybe Riyadh. At the very least they would bully any neighbours.

Israel would not wish to wipe Iran off the map, even if it could, but they do not want Iran to kill them all. At least Iran does not have to worry about being on the recieving end to countless rocket bombardment(1,000's) on their borders, unlike other countries in the region. Tehran was not happy when they were receiving Saddam's scuds during the late eighties.

The nuclear issue in so far as real war goes and not the talking point war is totally superfluous.
Saudi would like the prestige that Iran has got but went off on another tangent and is now attempting to cash in on the Western Strategic Nominal Alliance.
Its cost her a pretty packet and it probably is being recognized as a waste of money.
Instead of the Unilateral NATO replacing Israel with Saudi as the dominant power of the region; what we got is a bipolar world with NATO as the up start with an dis-functional agenda.
The new world order is based on commodity not as it was "using commodity".
If commodity value does not bow to market then market must bow to commodity.
The middle man has become unnecessary. Not all Nations will survive .
The US undoubtedly will but nations that ate chronically deficient in something or other haven't got a chance.
