Full story: The Washington Post

Despite some sniping on the presidential campaign trail, negotiations on Capitol Hill are likely to ensure a smooth flow of disaster aid in the wake of Hurricane Isaac.

It's an election year. what do they expect. However, higher gas prices due to the storm are going right up Obamolony's azz. They should come down in an election year. Obamo is screwed.

So, you're saying that Republican states, red states, like Oklahoma and Missouri where they teach their children that government is evil and that the federal government and all the people who work in it are at best free-loading socialists, if not communists, should offer them federal aid, socialist aid?

Jeez, I wish you moronic Republicans/conservatives would make up
your booze-soaked minds about the values of GOOD government.
Do you believe in responsive government or not? Or do you agree with Grover Norquist, Republican brainiac, that government should
be reduced to the size where it "can be drowned in a bathtub"?

And remember what Ronald Reagan said, that government is the problem and not the solution.

When you government-hating Republican morons have made up your minds about government, let everyone know will ya?.

Don't these idiot media people have any shame? Do they have no scrupples, or ever get tired of lying? Is there any code of conduct for reporters or is it all trash reporting?

Just read Topix. You lunatics have been your own worst enemies. You've bullied yourselves into a corner. You and your ilk have helped destroy this country. Not everyone is as dumb as you want to believe they are. We know who has been destructive, discouraging, and most of all, obstructive to anything and everything the president has put forth.

The attitudes and direction Republicans have taken over the last decade have turned me against them 100%. After watching the inspiring speeches of the Democrats over the narcissistic blathering of the Republicans, I know who I will be voting for.

You back peddle faster than Obama..........

REPORT: Obama had seen language prior to convention 'but did not seek to change it'...
WH: Wait, no he didn't...BACK PEDDLING AS FAST AS THEY CAN……..

Dems cut 50,000 seats due to weather……..not attendance problems……..
Hahahahah.Chance of rain at Obama speech time: 0%...

Advisers lower expectations for convention bounce...back peddle, back peddle, yes we can……….back peddle.
