Q: Why is it that Republicans oppose Obamacare but have not offered an alternative that covers uninsured Americans?
A: They have no compassion.

Who pays for all the unisured? Right now illegals and the poor go to public hospital....the tax payers cover the bill. The people who don't pay now, still won't with Obamacare.

There's already A Public Healthcare in place, it's called Public Hospitol, Medicaid, and Medicare. The poor didn't pay then, what's different about it. Taxpayers are still going to be footing the Bill.

Under Obamacare, the truly poor who can't afford care and go to emergency rooms would be covered by the Medicaid expansion, and yes, the taxpayers would foot the bill. But these people would be more likely to get care early when treatments are likely to be less expensive and more effective. Those who can afford insurance but don't currently purchase it will be forced to be responsible citizens and purchase it or pay a fine. Obamacare isn't perfect, but if Republicans had offered any constructive ideas in 2009 instead of putting politics ahead of American lives, it might be better.

Republican's always have plans or draw up new bills, but the Democrats shoot it down without ever reading.

republicans have made a pledge to the lobbyist Norquist to not consider legislation on its own merits in exchange for support. How is government to function with such blatant corruption?

The problem with ObamaCare is that no one knows what is in it. ObamaCare was written by the lawyers of K Street to the trial lawyers association, without interference by doctors or patients.

If your point is that the Republicans have succeeded at blocking Obama's agenda because they care more about winning elections than they do about solving the country's problems, I agree. That's what's wrong with Republicans: they hate Obama more than they love America.

for him to deal with these corrupt republican buffoons. They don't want the recession to end so they can play politics with the goal of doubling down on deregualation, tax breaks for the rich and and more phony wars that they won't pay for. It is hard to be the only adult in the room.

You Liberal's created recession, you don't want it to end, so you can keep blaming Republicans for that and everything else. Can never admit you are making mistakes and have dragged America down. Find an adult an ask him how to be a man.

The bill has alot of potential and the numbers crunch to make health care affordable...I would say yes but the light came on while thinking in corrupt mode using mafia economics and I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole...we need to learn how to bullet proof bills from now on. Even if it takes specialist agents trained to detect them. Removing or detecting problems on front end will save time and money. Who ever caught this first congratulations.
