In 2006 Video, Romney Calls Health Care Mandate 'Essential'

Full story: The New York Times

On the eve of the Supreme Court's health care ruling Thursday morning, a Democratic group has uncovered what it said was fresh evidence of Mitt Romney's one-time embrace of the individual insurance mandate that he now scorns.

President Romney issuing waivers in obamanation fashion to all 50 states on day 1 to the unaffordable obamanationcare act along with the obamanation's waivers to the unions will effectively NEUTER the unaffordable omananationcare act. Then with 4 additional Republican seats in the Senate after Nov the unaffordable obamanationcare act can be repealed in Congress and of course signed by President Romney. Is that magic enough?

Love to see all these wingnut posts supporting Flip Flopney, the guy who signed RomneyCare into law in Massachusetts and bragged about it but who now opposes the same law on a nationwide basis and promises to make getting rid of it his NUMBER ONE PRIORITY upon assuming office.

This idiot is NOT FIT TO BE DOGCATCHER. He's clearly a loser, a phony, a partisan asshat, a hypocrite, and a flip-flopper.

The ONLY enjoyable thing about a Romney Presidency would be seeing the Righties in a state of fury over how many promises this twat would break. SOOOO funny that you distrust Obama and accuse him of breaking promsises, but think Mittens is GOING TO SAVE YOU!

LOL

You are all of you, every one, dumber than F---ING ROCKS!:)

As a child in a foreign country.

It is immaterial that 67% of the people have been brainwashed by the $100 MILLION propaganda effort to demonize Obamacare....The FACT is REPUBLICANS SUPPORT OBAMA’S HEALTH REFORMS — AS LONG AS HIS NAME ISN’T ON THEM:
* Eighty percent of Republicans favor “creating an insurance pool where small businesses and uninsured have access to insurance exchanges to take advantage of large group pricing benefits.” That’s backed by 75 percent of independents.[...]

* Fifty two percent of Republicans favor “allowing children to stay on parents insurance until age 26.” That’s backed by 69 percent of independents.

* Seventy eight percent of Republicans support “banning insurance companies from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions; 86 percent of Republicans favor “banning insurance companies from cancelling policies because a person becomes ill.” Those are backed by 82 percent of independents and 87 percent of independents.

* One provision that isn’t backed by a majority of Republicans: The one “expanding Medicaid to families with incomes less than $30,000 per year.”[They'd prefer the poor DIE!]

Get hold of yourself, scarvey. The SCOTUS MERELY declared that it was Constitutional for Congress to pass the largest tax increase on the middle class in history, not that the Unaffordable Obamanationcare Act wasn't one of the biggest sh!t pieces of legislation to come down the pike in some time.

Obamacare: Holding Insurance Corporations Accountable

"Beginning this year, the “80/20 rule” takes effect, requiring insurance companies to spend at least 80 percent of consumers’ premiums on medical care and quality improvement. The remaining 20 percent is capped for administrative costs, such as salaries, sales and advertising.

Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said insurance companies must now notify customers how much of their premiums are being spent on medical care and quality improvement. Companies failing to comply with the rule are required to send each customer a rebate.

According to reports, insurance companies nationwide owe 12.8 million Americans roughly $1.1 billion in rebates. Sebelius estimated rebates will average $151 for each family covered by a policy.

In Connecticut, 137,452 policyholders will receive nearly $13 million, or an average rebate of $168 each. Rebates in Texas ($166 million) and Florida ($123 million) top the list."

Why not you? Then we can compare lists. Romney doesn't evolve so much as revolve, depending on his audience of the moment.
