What does my vagina and uterus have to do with the
religious liberty of the pedophiles
running the Vatican?

Women have the right to use birth control as well as the right to abort without penalty just as Catholic priests have the right to rape children without penalty.

Let them clean up their own house before they come at women with a giant douchebag.

I agree they need to clean house, but closer to the point, I have to tell you...I'm not that keen on paying for somebody else's birth control....

Birth control is a 'personal' choice, that should be considered with 'personal' dollars.

That being said...I'm not keen on paying for viagra and such either. I have yet to understand the rationale between that and a man's health, just as I don't get the connection between b/c and women's health.

Well I am not that keen on paying for your smoking habit or your kids' obesity or your kids' public schooling or your penchant for military buildups or for the roads you're so fond of driving your car on rather than taking mass transit.

And what you forgot, religious freeek, is that these employees and taxpayers who want birth control included and available pay for it with their labor and their tax dollars.

And the other thing you forget is that we all pay for unwanted pregnancies, of which we have an epidemic compared to sexual educationally sane societies as in Western Europe.

You don't have an argument. You're a theocrat with a dogma. Now, you may do what you wish in religious institutions which do not have secular employees and which do not benefit from taxpayer dollars. Which is about houses of worship and nothing more.

Why do you rant on and on about things you know nothing about???

Education is 'mandated' by congress......
I don't smoke...
My children are far from obese....
I take public transportation every day...
..and my employer has NOTHING to do with my choice of whether or not I take birth control.

You nanny-state liberasl alwasy want things handed to you. Get a job and pay for your laying down activities yourself!

You stupid, self centered filth, you forgot the military spending. And you own a car. Stop your Generalissimo Franco lying for the lawd. And you pay in for all those costs I mentioned which you claim you don't avail yourself of, including the epidemic of unwanted pregnancies. Why don't you object to all these other unfair costs you must bear?

The principle is quite clear: We all, most of us, pay in for our and for the common good in many ways.

You object to birth control, specifically - for which you whiny cretins got an exemption so your secular, not church, institutions don't actually have to pay for them - because you have a theocratic-sexual disorder.

And the secular employees, not beholden to your sexual sickness, want the birth control. Like men get Viagra on their health care plans, usually. And they pay for it via their work product.

You disgusting bigot.

I object to paying for someone else's birth control with 'my' tax $$.

You are an irrational rant monger that has no clue what they are talking about, only throughing out empty allegations and accusations you can not prove.

If men pay viagra from their health insure on their jobs, I don't have a problem with that, women should to the same with birth control, but "I" don't want to have to pay for it in any way shape or form.

Lay where you like, that's your business, and 'you' should handle it with 'your' money.

What make you so special, princess? Lots of us pay for lots of things we don't like, by statute, by court decision, by employer policy, by health insurance plan negotiation or by govt regulation. And in health plans which cover things we may not like, either.

You can control your own shriveled genitals, not other people's in secular settings. Especially when those other people pay just as much into the workplace and into the tax pool as you do.

And church owned universities and hospitals get all kinds of taxpayer money in any number of ways.

You may act out your misogyny on any house of worship of hate's employees. This isn't a theocracy, you lying filth.

Homosexuals and their legion of anti-religion propagandists will continue to push this falsehood about the Church and child abuse, when the reality was queers invading and taking over Catholic seminaries to place their predators into position to molest young men predominantly, not children. They did this to discredit the Church and widen their access to focused predation and spread of their deviance. What deviants and malcontents on Topix will do to continue that distortion and assault on morality in America is disturbing.

The RCC remains sexually sick, misogynistic and authoritarian, and this produced the abuse of power scandal and that abuse of power continues in many other guises until this day.

Gay and lesbian clergy in healthier institutions have produced nothing near that decades long, church lawyer covered up, imo, scandal. It ain't about sexual orientation...except in the savage bigot's half mind.

Agreed it's not about sexual orientation alone; it also is about criminal conspiracy performed at the direction of the older authority figures of queens in the homosexual communities.

Abuse of power is not about sexual orientation. We know because lots of sexually healthier churches have openly gay and lesbian clergy (let alone female ones) without anything remotely like the systemic, RCC one.

And among those "queens," your word, arranging for the covering up would be Pope Nosferatu himself, Ratslinger at the time.

I'm not trying to control 'anyone's' genitals. What are you talking about?????

Like I said, lay where you like, but 'YOU' pay for your own birth control with 'YOUR' money. That's what we grown ups call being 'responsible' for your OWN behavior.....

The first amendment to the Constitution is irrelevant to this issue. No religious institution should get a pass when it comes to complying with the law. Believe what you want, but do what you must.

If you don't pay the $25 a month birth control and that woman, who can't afford to have the child, has the baby, you will be paying for their food stamps, clothes and medical bills for the next 18 years. No one likes or wants that. Just let her not get pregnant. It's not that complicated. Poor people are here to stay and I'd like to keep their numbers low. Wouldn't you? I'd rather they prevent a pregnancy than terminate it, wouldn't you?

BTW, I don't think I should have to pay taxes to pay for old men to get Viagra. Not getting an erection is not my problem NOR is it life threatening or life changing. Forcing someone to have a baby is.

Also, why is the Catholic church now saying that they MUST know what a women does after her 9-5 shift ends? How in Gods name is finding out that they use birth control making them less moral or less Catholic or less of an employee? If anything, they are infringing on the liberties of women in America and around the world. They HAVE to pay for their employees insurance. If an employee gets birth control, it doesn't make their insurance go up. It's covered under the plan. The church does'nt even have a valid argument here.

I hate the RCC more every day. I see nothing good coming out of that horrid Vatican anymore but I see a lot of pedophiles, guilty of crimes against children, being employed and protected. How is that still called "God's house"? They are the Devil incarnate.
It's beyond disturbing that so many Catholics are so brainwashed and afraid of the RCC that they continue to give them million$ every year. What is wrong with people? Does anyone have a conscience anymore?

Threatening an employee with the loss of their job if they have sex on their off hours and use birth control to prevent pregnancy, is SEXUAL HARASSMENT and the RCC should be sued within an inch of it's pathetic life.

This is a democracy, not a theocracy. I can't tell the difference between the Taliban and the Vatican anymore. They are both misogynists and terrorists of women.
