Why not just give all Vets the same health care coverage congress has. Or, better yet, make all elected politicians get all their health care only from the VA. How long do you think it would take to fix the problem then?

Throwing money at the VA Healthcare(?) system without guaranteed reforms would be a major mistake. How about just giving that money directly to the veterans in the form of a healthcare card and let them decide where to seek their own care. Lets see if the VA can learn to compete with the real world for the money veterans would have to spend. If the VA cannot compete, close it down. Our veterans would be much better off considering what they have to deal with today within the VA system.
