Because we have no money we will have to repeal ACA before it goes into effect. I don't think it could have passed muster if Roberts had not rewritten it, and that's a first.

lying. The government has always had the authority to raise revenues and spend them - regardless of what you call it. Grownups understand that. Roberts was being honest for a change.

The fact that Scalia et al were ready to throw out the entire law based on one provision just shows how corrupt, political and overreaching those members of the court have become. The law was passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the president despite the sick lies that you idiots so readily believe.

Deal with it

Well, let's see, the Affordable Care Act passed by majorities in both houses of Congress and signed into law by the duly
elected president of the United States.

Fulfills the Constitution to the letter.
A majority on the Supreme Court agree that it is
constitutional.

Democracy is hell, ain't it?

One point...nothing was discussed. No Congress person EVER actually read the whole bill. Neither did the Justices. A 2500 page bill and no one, not even the President actually knows completely whats in there.

That is, if not corruption, then complete ineptness on levels that make Peter from the Family Guy look like a genius.

A law which they never actually read, signed by the President wanting to make a political gain, and a Supreme Court that just revealed a progressive amongst the conservative ranks. A Justice that rather than actually rule on unbiased and objective accounts said himself that he looked at any possible way to save an historic piece of legislation. That's kind of like buying a car that's a lemon and you try and take it back and the car salesman says, well, tell you what we'll give you a 2 months of free oil changes and a nice pen. That's best we can do. And you end up taking the lemon back.

He may be brilliant but even brilliant people can cave under pressure to the political wills of those they don't want to disappoint for whatever reason.

is a lie, of course. The process started very early on and took several months and was the result of massive amount of give and take.

And why would you think this important legislation would not be complicated and have parts that nobody likes 100%? Are you a child?

Where are they going to raise the money from? They have taxed the middle class into oblivion. The rich, and the poor don't pay taxes. We have to vote for the guy who will not raise our taxes, Mitt Romney.

Classic crony capitalism: privatize the gain, socialize the risk. When Romney drove GST Steel into bankruptcy, he and his partners made $12 million in profit and another $4.5 million in consulting fees. But Romney stuck the taxpayers with a $44 million tab for the company’s underfunded pensions.

Give me proof where at the minimum at least half of Congress read everything in the bill.

To this day Congress, heck even Nancy Pelosi is still finding stuff she didn't know was in there.

Please give us a link to the Republican specific detailed health care plan so we can compare it to the Obama health care plan.
Must have in depth specific details of the Republican Plan not highlights and talking points. WAITING
Republican welfare that keeps on giving to the wealthy.
Yes Republicans love to profit by screwing tax payers out of millions of dollars.

Republicans would be foolish to make known their Healthcare plan until the day they repeal the Obamatax plan. Yes, Harv, it is a tax, and that means the President broke that promise too, the one to about not raising taxes. But what's new the man has no class.
