I can't believe the comments about justifying this shooting, it doesn't matter what kind of life the suspect lived, how he was raised, or what job he had. It also doesn't matter how many times an officer has pulled someone over when passing through, if your doing nothing wrong and or abide the laws you won't be offended and have nothing to hide when being pulled over. This man may have been a law abiding citizen before this incident, I don't know but what I do know is he made the decision "himself" to break the law and fire upon an officer with intent to kill. This is the case in a lot of shootings, no one ever thought such a person would ever do this but it happens and he made the conscious decision to think about himself, shoot another human being not once to scare him off so he could get away but multiple times with intent to kill which ultimately cost him his own life.

He walked up to Fox's door and tried to open it. If his intent to kill was true, he would have gave him "one to grow on" as he was slumped over the wheel. I do not believe your "Intent" more than I believe this was a desperate, troubled person that needed help and was not given the choice after the officer down call.
