GM to Halt Facebook Ads

General Motors Co. plans to stop advertising on Facebook after the auto maker's executives determined their paid ads had little impact on consumers' car purchases, people familiar with the matter said.

I "like" them on FB. It is pretty obvious that their FB page is just a way to advertise and nothing more. The person in charge of posting uses "marketing speak" often, which I find very off-putting, even as a business major. It makes it obvious that they are out of touch, as are most businesses these days. I don't think they care about what customers actually have to say.
