Here in Florida the main gay rights groups are looking for gay and lesbian couples to join a lawsuit on this issue as well.

I'm a bit offended by that because I am not currently in a relationship. Marriage is not an issue just for couples. Marriage bans affect single people as well as couples.

If I had the financial resources I'd sue Florida myself in Federal Court for violating my rights under Article 4 (The F.F. & C.C.), Article 6 (The supremacy clause), Amendment 1 (Religious freedom), Amendment 9 (Non enumerated Rights guaranteed retained by the people) as well as the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

After all the words say "ALL CITIZENS" not "just the ones we like" or "only heterosexual citizens".

I just can't understand how people can have so much trouble comprehending what the word "ALL" means! Or that one plus one equals two and not 3 or more (the polygamy misconception of what EQUAL PROTECTION under the law means in relation to marriage equality).

Gay marriage is just like gun control. If it was a legitimate issue it would have been addressed and resolved 50-60 years ago.

DOOFUS alert.

It took nearly 100 years before blacks and whites could marry.

Slavery was banned Federally back in the mid 1800's. Yet Mississippi just took slave laws off the books in the last year.

Owning a gun has NOTHING to do with marriage laws!

Take some advice. It's better to stay silent and let people think you are a fool, than it is to speak up and remove any doubt.

Right.

I guess that's why Corporations were deemed to be the same as a person only this last year!

Talk about apples and oranges, you're mixing toothpaste with peaches and cigarettes and trying to say it's petrified wood!!

You need to remember that the ORIGINAL INTENT was to have a well regulated militia not 3 guys in a chevy doing a drive by!

"Original Intent" is often used as an argument in SSM debates yet it never is accepted by you gun nuts! Yet you'll use it when ever it's convenient. So what was the "original intent of the term "ALL CITIZENS" found in Article 4 and Amendment 14?

When you were a baby and people bounced you on their knee your head must have always been hitting the floor.

Finding logic in you comparison is like trying to pick up a turd from the clean end!

BTW SCOTUS ruled that marriage is a civil right for ALL citizens on the Federal level.

Don't like it, then secede from the Union and give us back all the money the Federal Government sent your State!

Let me guess. You're one of those people who thinks the Prop 8 people can appeal to a higher Court than SCOTUS!

after justifying same sex marriage is not wrong, the other group would proceed to lobby pedo, beasty and incest marriage.

to the ass from Mananas:

There you go again. Can't keep your reprobate mind off of sex with children and animals.

Your moral compass is like a 4 week old tampon a cat threw up on!

This country needs no more laws nor does it need to repeal any laws. We can fire all of our politicians now and start saving some money because they no longer have any purpose whatsoever.

No, that's your own lust speaking not ours!
Talk about the reprobate mind!

Does 'dollarbill' know you have these desires?

Does your family and church know?

Better hope your boss doesn't find out. Advocating incest, child rape and bestiality can get your dumb ass fired!
Oh I hope it happens! Then you'll sue and lose just like you did in Prop 8!

I notice you never discuss actual LAW or legal precedents. Ya just keep spouting about your obsession with child rape, sex with dogs and humping your Mom and Dad! Oh I forgot granny too!
Sicko!

We don't need the Supreme Court anymore either. Huge waste of taxpayers money with no value whatsoever.

Sure pencildickian. Until the next time you folks lose at the local level. Then you'll be scrambling like cockroaches when a light comes on to get your case to SCOTUS.

You whine about judges but run to the nearest one you think will back your case.

Well as long as you pay back all the money they have provided you over your lifetime for roads, schools, and trash pick up, I'll be glad to have you leave the Union!

I will help anyone take on Texas. It is time for every state to do what is right. Marriage equality in all 50 states. Stop hurting people that do not hurt you. My partner and I are ready to tie the knot.

Is there anyone still left in America who doesn't see themselves as a victim of someone else's persecution? This country has devolved into a victimization culture where "the man" ( whoever the hell that is) is keeping them down.

Why would straight people suddenly decide to harm animals and children and marry relatives, simply because gay people can marry unrelated adults?

If I were straight, I would be insulted.

So, if I were to remove YOUR ability to legally marry your spouse, or your children's ability to legally marry, either because my deity told me so, or I just don't like you, you would be fine with that?

Suuuuuuuure you would.

Hypocrite.

You wish to abolish one of the three arms of this government? Destroy the system set up by the founding fathers? And you call yourself American?

Is the constitution the next to go?
