Wrong, disingenuous troll, I make some quite obvious, valid points about Western, i.e., Christian, societies through history.
It was also the West which had child brides, brides without property rights, multiple brides. And all of this was quite common until the Industrial Revolution, give or take.
"Until the industrial revolution"...hate to break it to you, but ALL of what you said is STILL happening just not so much in your eloquently targeted "western/Christian" society

What do you think we've been doing since Stonewall in 1969, sitting on our hands? We have made much progress, and will make more. That progress is pretty much what these topics are all about. We are visualizing the future right here.

So the fact that middle eastern countries kill gay people on a daily basis DOES NOT concern you
No one said that except you, stupid troll.

The fundie mullahs are just as bad as the mullahs in other religions. We just keep our mullahs in slightly better check here. That is the only difference.

Wrong, cretin, those things are not legal. That is the difference, which everyone including you understands.

The only people practicing polygamy are outlier, religious freeeks. And their numbers are small. There are age of consent laws. Women are not property.

Again, marriage traditionally in the West meant one or more of polygamy, child brides, brides as property. It's not disputable.
