You're in dire need of some updates.
Different Arab countries have recently donated over ten billions to Egypt, pledging more to come their way.
Compare that to the 1.3 billions the US gives and you see US is not that important anymore.
On the other hand you can't miss the Suez Channel if you want to wage war to Iran.

If we would quit the impotent moral posturing and look at the real options and our real interests, US foreign policy would be more effective. Fundamentalist wackos were ruining Egypt, worse than when it was a dictatorship. The Egytian people, apparently more intelligent than many in the Middle East, realized that even a transitional military government was better than Obama's Brotherhood buddies. It is absurd that they will now have to turn to some pretty darn fundamentalist countries for support against the wackos, but that shows you just how extreme the Brotherhood was behaving. Come down out of your ivory tower, Messiah Obama, and give us some rational real world leadership!
