In Egypt, senior U.S. diplomat rebuffed by Morsi opponents

Full story: The Washington Post

A top U.S. diplomat was rebuffed Monday by representatives of the group that led the popular uprising against Egypt's first democratically elected president and by the Islamist party that could benefit from the ouster, underscoring the depth of anti-American sentiment among many segments of Egyptian society.

Good. That is what we get for allowing a military coup in Egypt, then sending the dictarship military aid on top of it.

Obama has embarrassed the Nobel Peace Prize so much that Snowden is being nominated for it.

Obama is a known fool already. Did you see how he sent that pervert to Libya? The courageous people of Libya sent him back in a plastic bag. If Egyptians start sending back zionists in plastic bags, maybe some progress can be made. But I would get into trouble if I called for the death of a public official. So, I guess I would have to settle for just having him insulted and rebuffed. The important thing is not to allow fools like Obama to dictate anything, anywhere in Africa.

Yes, of course, the U.S. made a spectacular misjudgement in in supporting a push for democracy that was not balanced with an unwavering insistence that absolutely no religious clergy, or their ideological-go-between, could ever be allowed to inflict there religious dictatorship upon those who might be unwilling subjects.

With THAT, the Morsi government could not, at all, have been considered any sort of democracy.

What precisely the Morsi Gang was intent upon creating, and with fanatic zeal, at that... was a religious dictatorship.

Still, it is not wise to necessarily expect an absolute and total separation of church and state, probably.

At least some slight veneer of faith can be tolerated.

Even the U.S. envelopes itself in Godly respect even in the printing of its monetary currency..."IN GOD WE TRUST".

All three branches of government must, however, avoid basing there decisions on religious scripture.

They can only pray to God that their unbiased decisions are wisely based on rational unbiased logic and the rule of unbiased laws.

Whenever the U.S. has failed to follow that rationale, the situation has managed to splash back in some unsavory manner.

That is unless the intent was solely to extend God's love and aid to the World's meekly innocent and powerless.

Surprisingly, I believe that the mundane day-to-day government of Israel does seem to sufficiently separate itself from religious dictatorship,

but then I do not connect the government of Israel with the actions of its founders,

in that, in no way, do I side with their so-called
'Godly justification' that their acquired territory was due to some 'Heavenly' mandate.

The USA would do better by minding its own business. Nothing Obama has got involved in in Africa has worked so far. So maybe, just maybe, they ought to allow people to solve their own problems. Certainly the Egyptians know better than Obama knows about how to fix Egypt. Anything that the Obama gang proposes is going to be against the best interest of Egyptians.

Look, this 'democracy' PR thing America is pushing now only materialized after the dissolution of the USSR. Until then, Washington was more than happy to support military dictatorships around the world, and a few very brutal ones at that, as long as they shared the same nemesis.

Sooner or later this democracy 'fad' will disappear as a failed strategy for 'reforming' their new and far more unmanageable nemesis, Islamic extremism, and Washington will be back to business as usual.

Actually, as with "all things" important to preserving the United States of America...Liberal/Socialist have "reinvented" the defination of "Church and State"...

If the United States Government was let's say "Catholic" and Catholic government ran the country, "offend" the Catholic faith and you have committed "treason" against the "state"...

That is "Church and State"...

Our country has a background based on "Faith in God"...and offering a prayer prior to voting on a critical issue such as ObamaCare "is not" __ "Church and State"...

Meanwhile Liberal/Socialist/Muslim Obama and "ass"ociates want to "ban" Christianity and "replace" it with Muslim Sharia Law...and that would "create"..."Chu rch and State.

I have some suspicions about Obama but I'm not at the point where I am ready to accuse him of attempting to set up Sharia law.

I don't think he has enough time left to accomplish that even if he were trying, anyway.

Am I to take it that you do agree with me about continuing support for the Egyptian Army but with the added voiced expectation that no religious dictatorship may be allowed, is that correct?
