News flash the scientist canceled the cold wet winter in the South. Guess climate change is canceled.

When you break away from the normal shortcut for carbon dioxide by writing Co2, are you indicating that oxygen is not as important as the carbon? What is the reason?

Because I'm in a Forum Thread.. Not writing a paper for publication and in the topic at hand Carbon is the prime point So I use the format I wish .... Just as I use Caps for words that I wish to emphasize... And Other post specific formats with posts... In a casual conversation such as a thread posting everyone has their own format and style.. Some care about spelling some care about content some use what ever format they wish.. Only the self absorbed arrogant tend to point to minutia and disregard content.

As I've said, coal-fired powerplants, cement plants & other processes produce seven(?) thousand of tons of free-floating mercury already. However, a quadrillion fluorescent bulbs will be produced before 2 million tons of mercury(which isn't free-floating) will be produced(& fewer amounts of mercury are used as tech develops). Besides, LED lights will supplant fluorescent lights in the future & already are.

Again, your post is Idiotic.. but I'll reply just this last time... My degree is in Electromechanical Engineering from Missouri Institute of Technology by the way... But have certificates in robotics, emergency power systems, hydraulics, pneumatics with past military MOS of 223C as a Hawk tech...
But to repeat.. There is No degree of No level that imparts the title of Scientist on Anyone... Having a Phd in Physics does not make one a scientist, a High School diploma does not mean one is Not a Scientist...
Your post is not only childish and idiotic it is delusional... The very process of the environmental movement cause the production of vastly more of the nasty byproducts than the coal, steel and power industries... Lithium being one of them... the concept of battery power cars filled with tons of deadly lithium boggles the mind.. As a heavy metal lithium is not only very poisonous but once such a battery plant is damaged in a auto accident it's a bomb... Can't wait until the first one catches fire and the fire department turns a water hose on it... And they cannot be recycled.. It cost almost twice as much to recycle large lithium plants as it does to replace the with new materials so tons of these toxic systems will start gathering in your future. Then there is the Millions of Tons of mercury from the millions of mandated floro bulbs being spread around our nation...
That explains it all, an engineer......

An engineer doesn't know the difference. Anyone with a science background would not write it as "Co2". Another indication of a scientific void are those who write "pH" as "Ph" or "PH" and go on to say that an ocean with a decreasing pH is not being acidified.

Arctic sea ice, either by satellite or submarine data, is above the 2007 and 2011 Arctic sea ice extent AND, a month later than 'normal', the sea ice average for the decades of 2000's, AND THE 1990's, at 8,704,063 km2 (November 14, 2012), again, a bit larger than W.Virginia, with average temperatures above the 80th parallel chilling to -20 degC. The sun has been unseen from the North Pole for 8 weeks!

Arctic Ocean warmth is & will continue to keep Arctic sea ice thinner through the coming winter & even spring. As of October 2, Arctic sea ice VOLUME is ~23% lower than any satellite recorded year AND indications of submarine-detected Arctic sea ice yearly VOLUME.

Presently, Arctic sea ice extent is 300,000+ km2 less than 2nd place 2011, at 8,813,750 km2 (November 15, 2012), not surprisingly bumping up by the size of Virginia. Present temperatures on landforms surrounding the Arctic Ocean, have numerous areas, like Siberia & Arctic Canadian islands to the deep minus twenties & even to -33 & -34degC. Finally, the Arctic Ice Pack has attached solidly to the north coast of Alaska. If a circulation pattern that just developed north of the Being Strait remains, could further southward icing occur, along the western coast of Alaska? Baffin Bay is sea icing. Due to solar heats absorbed into the shallow waters of Hudson Bay, despite many sporadic temperatures to as low as -24 degC, the Bay still has NOT ICED.

The vast open Arctic waters north of Siberia have been covered by Arctic Ice Pack. The huge sea ice floes that strongly developed in the vast clear waters north of Siberia(due to broad double digit minus Siberian temps spilled from North Pole's 7+ weeks of darkness & vortex mixing breaking down stratified solar heated waters?), have done their job AND connected the Ice Pack to the entire Siberian coastline, truly a remarkable past development!

However, Franz Joseph Land & Svalbard, in winter darkness 24/7, are still clear of the Ice Pack!!!!!!!!!! A circular vortex formed north of the line connecting both sets of islands. Wonder if the Ice Pack may expand in this area?
The vortex has quickly moved over towards the east coast of Greenland & may or may not assist the south moving flow of Arctic cold water.
The vortex HAS HELPED the south moving flow of Arctic water & extra sea ice broadening is evident along the east coast of Greenland.

A detail noted a month ago, is a raggy taggy developing edge along a part of the semi-circle Ice Pack, possibly NOT coincidental with the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS (plus?) OF SQUARE KILOMETERS, of waters north of Alaska & Siberia that are VASTLY CLEAR. Might the raggy taggy edge indicate huge turbulence & currents in this largest(ever?) ice free, & resulting southerly-directed heat stratified Arctic waters? I wonder if there might develop more raggy taggy edging, enough to form a swirl pattern?
Almost a month ago, noted near the raggy taggy Ice Pack, developed 3 tiny pixel ice floes(arced?), separated from the Arctic ice pack toward southerly directions. Four weeks ago, the number of ice floes increased to 8 & indeed they formed an ARC. Pretty sure they represent a large scale vortex in open Arctic water!
Further data, showed that the vortex was true!

Downwelling solar heats, in unusual clear Arctic Ocean & seas, normally sea ice covered in decades past, which have strongly transported extra solar energy to continental shelf, sea & Ocean depths for 4 months, is over. The sun has been unseen from the North Pole for 8 weeks & presently anywhere above the 72nd parallel, now shrouding the Arctic with darkness for a good portion of the year! The Northwest Passage is in darkness 24/7. Only far north European, & far western Russian southern Arctic seas get a skimming from the sun for only a bit of the day, which is visually less than a two degrees off the horizon, at its highest!

The experts said it would be cold and wet today. The experts made another error it's warm and dry. What will the experts bring us tomorrow?
