This issue could spin out of hand. But what is the alternative? One has to stand up to show pride and dignity. Otherwise, the country can hide and curl up its tail behind, as a beaten dog usually do.
The image is difficult to swallow but that's the reality of what graft and corruption has done to the country and its people. If the country can't solve the graft and corruption problem then the exodus of Filipnos to foreign lands will quadruple . The Scarborough or Spratly island issue may just be a joke as the country will up for grabs centuries from now if no one is left to protect and defend it.

Filipinos shouldn't go and shout at the Chinese Embassies. They should go to Scarborough Soal Island, get the boats, bancas, Occupied the Scarborough Soal with 20 millions of Filipino people there. Shouting and protesting from abroad doesn't solve the problem.

Lets be honest, if China wanted to they could "colonize" any of those islands with 10,000 "settlers" surround it with naval vessals and their new aircraft carrier to provide close air support, and there would be nothing the Philippine Armed forces could do about except commit honorable suicide if they attack. The US would "complain" to the UN, but since china has the veto, nothing would come of that either. And frandly, none of the developed countries give a hoot as to owns those islands as long as who ever does, develops the oil fields and puts the procuct on the world market. Remember the old saying "Pride goeth before the fall". If the philippines tries a one on one confrontation, china will roll right over them.

Just write off all the talks about Philippines provoking the Giant that is China from taking over the Shoals or all of the Spratly Islands, because we are so meaningless to them. Our shouts are not even heard. The USA and China will eventually agree to develope the islands for their own benefit and give the Philippine some kind of goodwill to make all happy. Place your bets now ! lol

Enough said on all the speculations about standing up to China. We all know that our country has not got the means and the muscles to beat even the Abu Sayyap here in our own country. Who the Heck is doing all these show of bravado ? Lets stop it already,... the world is laughing like Hell for all we have to offer. But of course the Media just love to build mountains out of mole hills"...lol

There is no such as "honorable suicide". Philippines claims against the Chinese, does not mean "WAR". It will not happen.

When Pres. Marcos brought tanks to roll over the sitting unarmed civilian, there was no single shot ....why??? Prayers are powerful and God protected the Filipinos...this miracle will happen again if ever the Chinese will invade the Philippines.God is the most powerful, not the Chinese.

Mr. LOL whoever you are, Jose Rizal was a good man and a hero, but against all odds he tried and died for his ideals. Not a very wisa act I would say, because he lost his life for an ideal. which eventually made it possible for Spain to subjugate the Filipinos for more than four hundred years. Are you implying that the Philippine Navy should try and fight off the Chinese Navy with two of our ancient warships You are already showing a bad example by not even having a name to show how much like Rizal you are. Not a wise act I should say again !....lol

Don't talk about bad example Jose Rizal. He died and lost his life for his ideals so he was proclaimed the national hero of PH.

The Navy has made the oath to protect their country even if it will cost their lives. Might be "laughable" to you, but not to them.

So don't add more insults to your countrymen. Shame on you !

What is laughable is that you ask those men to go on a suicide mission against the Chinese and that is what it would be. Chinese have radar guided sparrow missiles that only one could blow your ship in two and they would have no idea it was coming because they have no radar. Hence total suicide.

Can't expect an idiot like you to know these things.

Prayers didn't help the hundreds of thousands of Catholics that died in Argentina, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain and dozens of others. Think your special? Your a dumb ass and arrogant beyond belief to think your above suffering what all others have.

Filipino's time is coming and you will suffer the consequences of your lies, theft and your lack of any kind of morals. Your country is nothing more than a giant Babylon scorned and laughed at by your neighbors for your inability to do anything to progress, maintain any Army and willing to accept your nothing but cheap labor and brag about it.

Yes Donald. Filipinos brag so much they brag about bragging. Have you ever seen such a worthless bunch brag about so little? makes you wonder if there is a Tagalog word for being humble? I'm also looking forward to the Chinese talking these island by storm so I can get more Chinese customers renting my cars and trucks

It's not suicide mission like our soldiers in Aghanistan. Inspite of the "modern technology" the war in Aghanistan is still on going...

So the presence or absence of radar will not stop a war...God will protect the Filipino people as long as they will not invade any country...

And you idiot who is depending in a radar to win a war...you are too stupid...lol lol lol lol !

Prayers can move mountain. Remember that. The radar which is the subject of Don American, will not help stop or win a war.

The problem with Goliaths, they think too much of themselves, but they can be beaten up like pulps by a David....small Filipinos but terrible...lol lol lol lol !
