Not going to happen. Some Chinese brand will dominate in China in the future.

Apple stole the Chinese iPad name for over five years. They made billions using the brand name. The Chinese company Proview complained, and is awarded $13 million by a Mainland Chinese court. That's roughly half a day's of Tim Cooks anal pay.
Mind you, I'd bet the BJ official overseeing the case has earned $100M+ slush money from them Apple retainers, starshed in the Chinaman's private Swiss account.

The Mainland Chinese are corrupt beyond any redemption!

This should be true but for some reason isn't.

China accounts for a quarter of the worlds population so her companies should be leading the way in a quarter of the world markets.

Off the top of my head though I can't think of a single technology market where a Chinese company is one of the major brands, never mind top brand.

Design and innovation are needed for that and for some reason China seems to be miles behind the developed world.

In the entire history of the world, has a single person ever bough a lenovo product because it's a lenovo product?

People buy Lenovo because they want a cheap product. People buy apple because they want an apple product.

Would you like another attempt at naming a single chinese tech company who is a leading brand?
