There is an old Jewish saying, "you need money and power to hold on". the PH does not have either, it is better off that the Chinese take care of it. What is the PH going to do? China will make money off of those islets and everyone gets richer. The richer the Chinese get the more they buy from all of us, it trickles down.

RE-POST: DO YOU KNOW WHY CHINA WANTS OUR SCARBOROUGH RESOURCES AND WHY THEY WILL WREST CONTROL OF OUR SPRATLY TERRITORIES EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO DO IT BY FORCE? BECAUSE CHINA'S OIL STOCKPILE CURRENTLY IS VERY LOW.

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OIL CHINA NEEDS DAILY? MORE THAN 10 MILLION BARRELS DAILY.

China is desperate to have its hands on all the oil it can get. As the China oil rush in Africa report wrote:

"China’s exploding economy could potentially result in an economic and socioeconomic crisis if China is not able to obtain the resources necessary to support it. Oil is at the forefront of China’s requirements list, being integral to a myriad of industrial and consumer needs. China’s oil stockpiles are currently very low.

"According to Greg Priddy, a consultant for the Energy Information Administration, should it somehow lose part of its oil supply, an authoritarian state like China, with parts of it still run as a command economy, would probably have fuel rationing."

With China's increasing thirst for and dependence on oil (dependence that has hit more than 10 million barrels a day) to keep the wheels of its economy in motion, it is likely that China will not stop at anything to wrest control of the disputed territories from its weak neighbour, the Philippines, even if it means doing it by force.

Philippines is the rightful owner of the shoal.. that is why chinese government does not want to go to court..

No, you are very wrong!

China actually want these islands to attract a million Pinoy maids a year to mate with their Chinese sailors.
The lesser IQ Pinoy kids will make darn good slave workforce the Chinese will need toward the end of next century.

It is usual Pinoy behavior. You often call yourselves victims and the others racists.

Who has stirred up trouble in HK over permanent residence. Who has unfairly misinterpreted the law?

How many Chinese Filipinos were killed by racists in your country in the last decades? Do you like Chinese even though they live and work hard in the Philippines as law-abiding citizens? Do they create trouble for you?

In comparison, Pinoys in Hong Kong have stirred up so much trouble. Yet Hong Kong people are so law-abiding and peaceful and no one even attempt to do anything bad to Pinoys there.

Who are better people? Pinoys or Chinese?

Go on lying. Pinoys always have a victim mentality. You call yourselves victims when you are refused things you are not entitled to.

Many Pinoys think they are victims even in this case.

I doubt the Chinese even care about the petroleum there bc it is so costly to take it out of those deep seas there and they are very rough seas. They just do it as a principle, they are the only super power there and only they can insured the safely and welfare of the area. They are doing from the goodness of their heart. Temembered the Chinese are very kind and considerate ppl they save over a half million Jews from Hitler in WWII. Now they want to save the East and south China seas from pirates and illegal acitivities in the area. We should all thank the Chinese, w/o them cargoes would be hijacked every day. It is the busiest shipping lanes in the world.

PRC use unarmed fishery and CMS civilian patrol ships, but the Philippines uses fully armed marines and warships against unarmed Taiwanese and mainland fishermen. Filipino soldiers treated TW and mainland Chinese fishermen violently.

Who is less peaceful?

So you continue to pretend to be a Taiwanese, moron!

Neither are you a pro-KMT nor a pro-independence Taiwanese.

Liar!

More likely you are an OFW working in Taiwan!

You exposed your true identity when you talked.
