Does anyone find it odd that our first mulatto president (Caucasian mother / Negro father) always identifies with his negro father in terms of racial identity? This to me seems a wise choice because he would certainly have a hard time telling people that he is Caucasian. More importantly, by identifying as a Negro, Obama was able to gain all kinds of racial preferences to be admitted into (supposedly) good schools. Riding the racial gravy train as they say.
He would never have been elected president if he identified himself as a Caucasian. As a Negro, he was able to mobilized the Negro and Latino communities. But more importantly he was able to get the support of tens of millions of white liberals desperately wanting to rid themselves of their 'white guilt'. So, despite him crowing on and on at the MLK festival about discrimination, there is actually little discrimination in the USA and he is the living proof of it. Negros have more rights and protections than any protected plant or animal on the endangered species list. Choosing his Negro half rather than his Caucasian half has been very lucrative for Barry Soetoro.
