Thank God, that..... OOOPS, I may have offended the GOD HATERS in the democratic party.

Anyway, I'm glad that the Cowboys/Giants game was on and I didn't hear the speech. HOWEVER, I heard some highlights and the thrust of the speech was that Obama didn't accomplish what he wanted because things were too tough when he took office.

What??? I thought Obama as a friend of Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, as an Acorn lawyer, as a top reciepient of Fanny/Freddie political contributions and as a member of the MAJORITY PARTY in Congress was part of the problem in the first place.

And he has made things WORSE on every front.

He should take Clint Eastwoods advice and let someone with business experience clean up his mess.

Spot on Bill, spot on. George W. Bush was the worst president ever, not surprised that he didn't speak at the republican convention, perhaps because Romney has the same failed ideas as GWB.

Romney needs to sharpen the issues between himself and Obama. I would suggest he look to Ron Paul for ideas.

Ideas and issues first, then the votes will come.

Mitt is SMART, but can he defeat Obama, who, while not a very good President, IS a PROFESSIONAL CAMPAIGNER? Like Bill Clinton and Tony Blair, Obama had the engaging personality and charm that the POWER STRUCTURE looks for.

The downside for Obama is his abysmal record.

No NET JOBS since inaugeration day, middle-class wealth plummeting, big banks BIGGER THAN EVER, The blunders in Syria, Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan, Debt out of control, Credit Rating falling, Tuitions Skyrocketing, High Unemployment, Poverty at Record Levels, Gasoline Prices High, Schools Failing, States and Cities facing Bankruptcy and to top it off, the dems just told "God" to take a hike.

I know, I know. "God-given" was reinserted BUT a 2/3s vote was needed and God knows that the votes were not there.

Bad news for the dems in that the NFL dominated the TV ratings during Clinton's speech.

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/09/06/t...

The combined total viewership of ABC and CBS, which showed the Clinton speech, and was much less than half the size of the audience that watched the NFL game on NBC.
