Carter was an admirable man who meant well, but was clearly in over his head as a President.

Jimmy Carter, the last fundamentalist Christian that acted like a Christian. The rest of them are fascist pawns of the military-industrial complex. Evil does exist in the world, and in America, it cloaks itself in Neo-Xtianity, but the only God they worship is mammon. They could start a motorcycle gang and call themselves, "Puppets of Satan."

This act helped republicans win the election and the hostages were released immediately. Sometimes it seems the CIA and the military only works for republicans and to keep them in power.

To bring this up now is all to lead us into more war we can't afford and that is what will destroy us.

Maybe we should just stay home and protect our own and let the middle east destroy each othert as they have been trying to do forever.

Let them eat oil.

I think you and I have completely different ideas as to the meaning of the phrase "fundamentalist Christian". Are you saying he believed in the possibility of losing salvation? Did he oppose women in authority positions? He sure as hell didn't follow the leadership examples set in the Old Testament.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Libra

Instead of retreating into your own little world, get out there and spread some love and joy to all those around you. Be sure to pay close attention to the things that make others truly happy - often it can be the simplest of things. Libra is the most sociable sign in the Zodiac and you'll be in your element at the moment. You don't need to go overboard, though, and pick up everyone else's tab!
