why should the US be offering food and aid to them? Did they offer to us during any of our disasters? no.

They want to be an isolated country, let them take care of themselves.

As much as 10,000 dead! These folks need any assistance anyone can give!! I certainly hope if we ever go through anything as devastating as this someone would show us a little mercy! Regardless of what country you live in, people are still people and we should show compassion.
