I think Roger's making far too many unforced errors in his games. Not so much a case of other players are getting better but rather he is plaing rather badly than before.
So keep up buddy !!! |

Well, I try to keep up but not lately. I noticed Nadal beat him again this week. I realize that Nadal is almost un-beatable on clay but ????? It just seems something is wrong, either physically or mentally.

Tennis is as much a mental sport as it is physical. For the top players, I think there is not alot of difference amongst them in terms of physical fitness. In Fed's case, I think it is all mental (and is actually far tougher to overcome than physical). Fed has met with a slump lately and unfortunately, this trend must have been a major blow to him mentally. Players are seeing him as beatable and this will inevitably boost their mental confidence against him. I hope Fed's confidence could be restored soon by winning roland garos.
I have every respect for Nadal. His speed and fitness is phenomenal ! But i wonder how long his body can last with this kind of punishment. Federer has the technique to play tennis beautifully without unduly subjecting his body to tremendous strain. That accounts for the absence of injury (except for the mono, of course). Everyone should model our play after the great man. |

I agree with you, I think Fed needs a big win as soon as he can. French open will be tough for him to win. I wonder though that his serve speed let him down in the last couple of months. He can serve absolutly harder than that. What is going on with his serve. Fed has to be turning up one gear if he is about to win French and Wimby |

it's not about fkn serve speeds these days u gotta be a very good base liner look at andy his got da fastest serve in tennis does he win all of his matches is he no.1 can he beat novak, fed, nad in grand slam look a serve is nothing exspecially when u have a great returner lyk novak, fed, hewitt wat a coincidences players andy struggles against i'v noticed dat a player who can return andy's serve he struggles to beat them just lyk fed u gotta have da game be a gud defender, net player and not just have one weapon and dats why novak, fed, nad are da best right now and andy isn't its as simple as dat
