Congratulations to our very own pride from Switzerland, Roger Federer for finally winning The French Open today, Sunday. Needless to say, it's his first trophy in this Grand Slam in French Open in his tennis career. More power and may the Good Lord bless and keep you!!!

No doubt the classiest, most talented tennis player ever. His emotions showed just how much this title meant to him. He has the admiration of his fellow players, and is always gracious whether in victory or defeat. He and Nadal fight tooth and nail, but never mean spirited as McEnroe and Connors did. McEnroe used his on court tamprums to change the momentum and break the other player's concentration. Not good for the game. Play fair, shake hand, win or lose ....that's tennis.

I agree with you "hopeandandfaith". Reports here said that Roger Federer has one of the longest consecutive wins in tennis history. At last, he won in the French Open. I think his marriage with his longtime girlfriend gave him luck. They had just a grand marriage last month.

Our belated Congratulations to you Roger! May you live happily ever after!!!

Here's a Food for your soul...

Lay aside envy and jealousy. "Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire for pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby" (I Pet 2:1.2).

Some resort to maligning or gossipping because they are jealous of others. They cannot stand to see the noonday splendor of the other fellow's career. As Christians, we should be happy for our brethren when we see them doing well.

I'm glad it's finally over and he did it. He should be on an emotional high now and he should breeze thru Wimbledon. I've been saying for over a year now that Nadal's knees would eventually give out on him, and that's what's happening. At only 23, his best days are behind him, so Federer should easily win 5 or 6 more Grand Slams.

He is now targeting Olympiagold which he was not able to win yet for one-on-one. Last Olympia he won together with another.

Whatever it is "The Ace", to the Swiss Roger Federer is already considered as the Best Sportler Of All Times, already a legend, the best Swiss export and the best person to represent the land.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aries

There is a strong focus on career and parental matters today. You need to be cautious regarding your dealings with someone in authority - things may not be what they seem. This is also a good day to spend time with your partner. Communication in general should prove to be smoother sailing than usual so this would be an opportune time to discuss delicate matters with others. Good news in the evening is indicated.
