no question US tennis on both the mens and womens side are struggling. Roddick is an inconsistent joke who is too cocky for his own good. Just 3 years ago on the woman's side we had Capriati, Davenport, Serena & Venus Williams dominating the top 5. Now Serena is battling to get back into the top 10. We took a heavy hit with Sampras and Agassi retired, both embassador's to the sport as whole. It will be some time before US tennis is back in dominating fashion it seems. It appears the Russians are going to dominate women's tennis for some time.
