Why does the women's professional tennis association tolerate matches between these sisters? These two clearly don't play as aggressively as they normally do against other players, and the better of the two players (Venus) inevitably loses in the direct match-up of sister against sister, a hard to fathom result. The long and short of it is that these matches question the credibility and fairness of the tournament and professional tennis as a whole. How can professional sports accept one competitor throwing a match? Or, does it merely look that way based on the dispirited caliber of play? The commentators, game-callers and sports media (those intrepid fact-finders and truth mongers)... won't touch this perception. You'd think they were ashamed to discuss the issue or engaging in an intentional dodge, something they are quite good at. If the media wants to cover this up, let's ask them why.

The current lifetime record is 9-8 for Serena (including the Quarterfinals at this US Open) so I'm not sure what you mean when you say Venus always loses. Also, what would you have them do, fix the seedings to the two are always on the opposite sides of the draw? And, did you see the Wimbledon final this year, that was definitely an entertaining match with very high quality play.
