If you noticed, in the past the Williams sisters seem to retire for some ailment when things aren't going well. You can tell by the self serving comments of Serena, with a little "spirituality" tossed in, that she is in no mood to play nice in words or attitude. We can only hope her play lives up to her ego because we like to see good play and good sportsmanship.

Oh, you mean like having a piece of glass in your foot, or a blood clot in your lungs, or torn/strained abdominals? Geez...

She was ASKED about her spirituality, and her comments were no different than any other athlete prior to a big tournament - She is doing everything she can to prepare herself, and hopes to win. There's nothing wrong or mean about her statement. As a matter of fact, it was very pleasant, and quite gracious.

I hope you're hounding Federer and Djokovic as well, because they have just as large egos, and aren't shy or afraid to tell people about their championship aspirations/expectations either.

You seem to have an axe to grind with regard to the Williams sisters. Try being a little more open-minded and I think you'll find that they are no different than other top athletes. No better, or worse...
