It was a very bad taste for Novak Djokovic to try to imitate Nadal and Sharapova. A olt of people though that his show was very cheap and degrading. I am quite sure tyhat Federer would never stoop so low in fron of a crowd.
But I gues that the New YOrk crowd enjoy cheap shots like that!
I only hope that Djokovic meets with Federer in the finals,
although he has not gone through Ferrer yet.

I think Djokovic has a great sense of humor. For a long time there was this constant "there are no personalities in the game" being said. I always disagreed with that statement, but my guess is the tv folks thought it would be good for tennis to show someone with a lot of personality. He also plays a good game of tennis to back it up, which is nice to see. And I agree, it would be great to see him go up against Federer. Federer plays so effortlessly at another level. It'd be interesting to see if Djokovic would be able to match it. I was impressed by how close Roddick came in those first two sets. But if I think about it too much, I ask myself how close was he, really?

I thought it was funny when he aped Sharpova and Nadal. Hopefully, they can take a joke and get over themselves, but I doubt it. It is nice to see someone with a sense of humor in a sport which gets more and more away from real people. Federer is phenomenal and extraordinarily boring at the same time. Laugh it up folks.

I'm happy to see Djokovic has a sense of humor too. People are too easily offended these days. It's like Robert Plant once asked on stage, "Does anyone remember laughter?" The Djokovic/Ferrer match would be intense.

I thought Novak was simply brilliant and he clearly did it in the right spirit with no malice - certainly the crowd thought so too. Hard to think Nadal (maybe not Sharapova has far less of a sense of humor) would do anything but laugh at his efforts.

Novak's antics were hilarious- and in keeping with the relatively light-hearted atmosphere of the US Open. He has just enough charm to pull off impressions. People who thought he was being rude need to lighten up a little and enjoy life!!
