This could be tough blow to tennis fans

It came to my attention Monday that this summer will be the 25th and final - for the time being, at least - time that USA Network will broadcast the U.S. Open tennis tournament.

Very good article. I agree with you almost 100%. Here's where I disagree. I'm more pessimistic about ESPN2s coverage. I think they will ruin the US Open coverage. The TTC will do a fairly good job and, in my case, it is only an extra two dollars per month. Well worth the cost. Mary Carillo talks during points, unlike Corina Morariu on the TTC, who is fantastic. The TTC will show matches rather than a lot of "desk time" like ESPN2. The TTC will also show non US players like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Safin. While ESPN2 will show mostly US. For example Roddick, Blake, Fish, Querrey and Young.

Well, if their coverage of Tennis is anything like their coverage of Pro Golf I feel sorry for the Tennis fans.
