http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/features/ar... The Big Question: Who are the Jehovah's Witnesses, and why do they refuse blood transfusions? The Belfast Telegraph ... insisting on no blood transfusions. They say the Bible forbids them. What exactly do they believe? Jehovah's Witnesses are an off-shoot of Adventist Christians, who think the world is about to end. They began in 19th century America ---------- Who are Jehovah's Witnesses? Dissident Jehovah's Witness speaks out. No tolerance, the Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult because they try to cut you off from others who do not have the same beliefs, including family. Yes,you can 'check out anytime you want but you can never leave',because they can and will hold your family hostage. The Watchtower is an oppressive cult if there ever was one! It's amazing they are still around after 100 years of 100% failed prophecies. Truly amazing, that they can prompt their followers to actually go door to door with a 100% bogus message. The Watchtower is a truly Orwellian world. The 'message' is their false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming already in 1914.The problem with this,is it's not just a cute fairy tale, Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim "..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple" The Watchtower's Gospel "kingdom" is a man-made "different version".(Gal.1:8)

Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs and who are they? The Watchtower is big money, being one of the top 40 New York City Corporations making nearly one billion dollars a year. That's just from one of their many corporations. Unlike in the case of Christians who are persecuted in other lands for talking about Jesus Christ, Jehovah's Witnesses are largely persecuted for following the teachings begun during the second presidency of the Watchtower, when Joseph F. Rutherford took over in a corporate flap and began changing doctrines quickly in the Watchtower belief system. He claimed that angels directly conveyed truth to some of those in leadership. He coined the name Jehovah's Witnesses to make them stand out from being witnesses of Jesus, a typical evangelical expression (and a Biblical one). Rutherford dumped holidays, birthdays and the 1874 date for the invisible return on Christ, and invented an earthly class of Witnesses, since only 144,000 can go to heaven in their teaching. The rest, meaning all 99.9% of Witnesses still alive, will live forever on a cleansed earth, under the rule of the Watchtower leaders in heaven, who will keep them in line by local elders known as 'Princes'. If you have been witnessed to by Jehovah's Witnesses and you reject their message, you will likely die shortly at Armageddon with all the other non-Witnesses, since theirs is the only true religion, and (if they can live up to all the rules) they are the only ones to inhabit this new earth. If you believe Witnesses seem rigid now, any non-conformist during the future cleansed earth will be directly destroyed by Jehovah. Even now a Witness will be disfellowshipped for any one of many gaffs, such as smoking, taking a blood transfusion, or even voting. To even vocally question the teachings of the Watchtower will result in complete cutting off, with family and friends usually being forbidden to talk to them. The Watchtower is a truly Orwellian world, in a time when Orwellian societies are nearly obsolete. By their own Yearbook accounts, Witnesses are shrinking in number in many Western countries as of the last three years, as the internet facilitates the spread of information (much of it critical of the Witnesses). Witnesses are cautioned against creating JW-related websites, largely to prevent their members from discovering the history and dirty laundry of this organization on other websites.(There are literally hundreds of former members pages in many languages.) The Watchtower strives hard to control the flow of information to the individual Witness, and prefers that all instruction come through the magazines they carry door-to-door. Without this form of control, even as they themselves admit, they would believe just the same as other Bible believers. My hope is that there will be a day in each of their lives when the Watchtower magazine is no longer needed, and they can go to college, vote for office, and contribute money and time to other, more vital causes in their community. More than likely they will then cease to be persecuted, except in a few societies more authoritarian than their own. ---- Danny Haszard Jehovah's Witness X 33 years and 3rd generation http://jehovahwitness.blogstream.com/ http://www.quotes-watchtower.co.uk/

Studies in the US suggest they have proportionally four times more sexual assaults on children than the Catholic Church http://news.independent.co.uk/health/article3... What's the situation with child abuse? Not good. They take Deuteronomy 19:15 literally, which demands two witnesses to a crime (not easy in cases of abuse). And they cite 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 – "Does anyone of you that has a case against the other dare to go to court before unrighteous men, and not before the holy ones?" – to justify trying to deal with criminals with courts of elders rather than courts of law. A Panorama investigation reported they have an internal list of 23,720 reported abusers which they keep private. verdener/ Worlds Apart Niels Arden Oplev, 2008 Sara and her family are proud to belong to Jehova’s Witnesses. In the local community they go from door to door and preach on Judgment Day and eternal salvation for Jehova’s chosen ones. But when Sara falls in love with Teis, she is confronted with the choice of her life. Teis is not a Witness, but still their love grows through stolen, secret meetings. Sara is torn between her conscience, faith and passion; forced to make a choice between her love and her family that are worlds apart.

She visited the Jehovah's Witnesses meetings. The girl's friends happened to discover in her room the books where there was the wording: "Make no friend with the unfaithful. Jehovah will forgive you not," - the Yaroslavl' state broadcasting company reports. "She could scare and put her neck into the noose because of this wording," supposed the Yaroslavl' religion affair council member, Eugeny Mukhtarov. He added that three months before her death the girl visited the Gavrilov-Yamskoye branch of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her friends and relatives actively witnessed it. Meanwhile the investigation is in progress. We have filed to the prosecution department to resume investigation procedure, and the inspection is in progress," Mukhtarov informed. ---------- Watchtower Jehovah's Witness Whistleblower All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men/women to do nothing-Danny Haszard Bangor Maine

In 1972 elders received printed instructions that they did not have to delete fellow elders who confessed to serious wrongs if "several years" (later defined as 2-3) had passed. From then to this second the number of pedophile elders has grown to a database the Watchtower Society over JWs has had to admit in court documents is way over 20,000. That's why Associated Press and other highly reputable media tell of big settlements made by Watchtower Society, per victim believed a little over $750,000. The misleadership is having to sell major buildings now including the Bossert building, revealing itself not to be the Faithful and Discreet Slave it has claimed, that role staying with Christ himself. They also mislead member on blood transfusions ignoring 1Sam 14:32-34 shows Saul's men forgiven after eating unBLED meat to stay alive.

Regarding blood transfusions, some say: "In any case, the type of treatment one receives should be of their choice. No one loves a child more than the parents. " David Koresh of WACO loved his kids, and molested them. Polygamist Mormons love their kids and have sex with them. Jehovah's Witnesses love their kids and tolerate pedophiles in the congregation and going door-to-door, according to the latest court cases won against the Watchtower in 2007. Sometimes the oversight of someone who is not blinded by religious zealotry is helpful in saving the lives of children that should be loved BETTER THAN THAT. Randall Watters

I personally know of a few young JWs who committed suicide. They live in a cruel, restrictive world that sees everyone else but them as doomed. Teenagers rush to find someone to marry because extramarital sex is frowned on.(Many secretly do it anyway and then suffer from the horrible guilt of "leading a double life.") Those who venture "outside the organization" hope they can quickly convert the object of affection. Even when that does work, it's a fragile situation I feel for this poor girl and her family. They are mind control victims.
