*sigh*...she will be a big loss to tennis. She is a GREAT tennis player and class act!!! Best wishes to her and may she find happiness in whatever she does next!!

Thanks for great memories

Good for her...25 and rich. I totally respect these athletes that walk away instead of trying to extend the glory days well past their time.

Cracking under the pressure. Which is why Venus and Serena should be known as the Greatest of All Time. If Justine would have had to go through what they did she would have been gone long ago. I remember her first win against Serena where she won by bad officiating and even though it was on replay she said she won fair and square. Now look at her.

Sounds like a sore loser to me. Take your marbles and go home.

One of the sweetest one-handed backhands in the sport and one of the toughest competitors. She'll be missed. I think she's quitting because she's always getting sick or run down. Could be something medical that she doesn't want to talk about.
The problem with most sports is the money is so good that athletes are going to be retiring earlier and earlier. The physical toll isn't worth it when you've already made millions.

you are a dummy! The williams dumbo duos are a disgrace to tennis! They have NO class and soil tennis courts with their unprofessionalism and ghetto attitudes.

I HOPE they "take their marbles and DO go home"! No loss to tennis! OH and you should follow them and go away too!
