Delta to offer Wi-Fi on mainline domestic fleet

Delta Air Lines Inc. said Tuesday it will offer broadband wireless Internet access on its entire domestic mainline fleet by the middle of next year.

So now I can use my laptop during those 8 hour delays on the tarmac. Yay. If the flight is scheduled for 2 hours but ends up taking 7 due to all the delays, does that mean I'd have to pay the higher price? Screw Delta.

Ok, like does DAL think people who fly are so stupid that if you throw them wi-fi they be happy that they're paying $50 to check an extra bag, and $400/ticket to get rotten service?

Q. Are they capable of supplying external power to our laptops in flight so we can use the WiFi... or not? EXTERNAL POWER IS PARAMOUNT!!!
