I doubt it.

Anyhow, who is the city?

5 million would have went a long way towards doing something actually useful for the safety of the city. Now all they have is a bunch of electronics that will be wearing out every year and need to be replaced costing even more as time goes
by.

If you put it in perspective, Ernest, the city had to upgrade from their current system to the WI-FI mesh. The old system of strings and tin cans was getting too expensive to maintain.:)
