Houston News.Net Friday 10th June, 2011 Groundbreaking virtual reality technology developed in Australia has been sold to China where it will be used to improve the safety of mine workers.

It is already in use here. They have sold a unit, not the patent. It will be interesting to see what applications are dreamt up for this tech. My guess would be military & entertainment for a start.
