Hello Istor, it seems that you are a proud Macedonian, what does that mean? According to statistics you are most probably of Refugee descent if you come from the region of Macedonia in Greece.

How is it?

His name is John Alep (I only post his name to show it is not a Macedonian name and not to expose his identity) and he is a dirt squatter from Turkey ... probably Alepoglu.

Proud Macedonian means proud of that campaign that Macedonians did to spread Greek Language and Civilization to the World. Whoever is not proud of that campaign has no reason to be called Macedonian.

hahahahahahahahahaha!
Don't believe ANY SlavoSkopian 'sources' but if you read original documents and data. At 1924, about 600,000 Greek refugees from Asia Minor met here in Macedonia about 600,000 Greeks. Those Macedonians,ten years earlier they had defended their Greekness against Turkish occupation and Slavic excruciation!

have you read the book by Elisabeth Kontogiorgi she is using exclusively Greek sources in her book and she herself is a Greek, "Population exchange in Greek Macedonia: The Rural Settlement of Refugees 1922-1930" from 2006, published by Oxford University Press, she writes on page 73 and 74;

"The exact number of the Orthodox Anatolian and Thracian refugees who flooded into Greece is difficult to estimate because reliable statistical records do not exist. According to the general population census, taken in Greece on 5 May 1928, the total number of refugees was 1,221,849 persons (of whom 1,104,217 were from Anatolia and eastern Thrace, and 117,633 from Bulgaria, the Caucasus, and elsewhere) divided into 673,025 urban refugees and 578,824 rural refugees."

So Istor it seems that you do not have a clue about your Refugee past, is it so that your government do not care about the Refugee question anymore?

So I am asking you again are you of Refugee origins? Statistically you should be, the numbers have spoken.
